This guy is my spirit animal. I’m a DIY weekend/home mechanic. I only do my personal stuff and some friends here and there, but over the years I’ve accumulated a lot of stuff. I keep it very well organized and label what needs to be labeled. I’m not making money with my tools (saving money more than anything), but my time is valuable, and being organized allows me to move quickly.

Thanks for sharing. So some suggestions for the socket drawer(s). I would use both wide top drawers for sockets, ratchets, extensions, torque wrenches, as so on. Some of my Dad's theories which I maintain today: 1. Organize first by Drive - You know which drive range you're going to use first and foremost. 2. For efficiency, keep your ratchets, extensions, and accessories beside your sockets. l opening multiple drawers wastes time. 3. Keep all drive tools together; meaning deep, shallow, impact, swivel, hex, torx, triple square, crowsfoot and so on. 4. Always keep Metric to the left (or right) and be consistent throughout even in the wrench drawer. As an example the drawers left to right: 1/4 Metric Sockets, hex, ratchets/extensions/acc middle, 1/4 SAE, and torque wrench in the area, then 3/8 Metric Sockets, ratchets/extensions/acc middle, 3/8 SAE, and torque wrench close, then probably starting on the right side, 1/2 Metric Sockets, ratchets/extensions/acc middle, 1/2 SAE and then specialty such as Axle Nut sockets and end with 3/4 drive in same order. In time invest is some socket trays to be consistent, I like Westling aluminum trays myself. Have fun.

Sweet set up... You need more lighting in your lockers...lol If I could suggest something.. Maybe take some of the drawers you use that may get skuff up, like the edges or bottoms and your table... do a spray liner, maybe on a day off... so they have time to dry also or cure. I see you have things on the top of your top cabnets, may I ask what you are using to keep them covered, just to protect an keep em clean & support for extra weight ? Thanks again for sharing your set up... 👍👍
