When most think of a luxury car these days, visions of 3-Pointed Stars, seas of leather and aluminum, or statements like "The Ultimate Driving Machine" come to mind. But amongst this crowd, there are those who seek such titles, but have always seemed to fall short. The #Toyota #Avalon has been one such car for years on end, with competition from Europe and even from it's own siblings at Lexus. But now for 2019, the #Avalon has taken a monster stride forward, with an aim to land a punch in this upstanding group of luxury cars. So does the all new Avalon really have what it takes to knock the Europeans off their throne? Watch the review to find out!

Infotainment and Entune. I have a 2013 Limited with the light beige interior trim. It really sets off the details better than the Saddle or Black. I also bought the upgraded tech package. I wish they kept the capacitive buttons and controls and not that big blob of screen and buttons that jets out and is not well coordinated with the rest of the dashboard design. Personal preference I guess. Do like the diamond stitching though. Surprisingly, this is I think a bit less sticker than the 2013 Limited Hybrid. My biggest issue is with Entune. The only updates I got was they took away my favorite app. The annual price of "Safety Connect" included Roadside Assistance, Map updates (never got one) and Advertisement free Pandora APP that is now gone when XM radio bought Pandora and decided to to support the APP for the best selling brand in the world. My point is that I could get upgrades to my car if Toyota wanted to. It is just software and maybe more memory. I was concerned when I bought the car that they used their own system for APPS and Maps. This is not their line and they should have partnered with other companies that supply these services as their main business. You may get updates from Apple Play but don't expect Entune to keep up. You will be stuck with what you got when you bought the car. Sad considering they advertised it and I paid yearly for upgrades that only took away APPS.
