2019 Toyota Tacoma to a 2000 Ford F350 - Y U DO?

Heyo, I know it's been a while since I've posted anything. OOPsiee.
Anyways, life update, my 2019 Toyota Tacoma is gone... It was totalled by a redlight runner. Instead of getting another or a Tundra, I went and got a 2000 Ford F350 7.3 Powerstroke instead.
heh.
IM BUILDING A FRICKEN EXPEDITION VEHICLE TO LIVE OUT OF.

Hell yeah good choice, that's a clean truck!! I switched 2019 f350 with a 8 foot bed last year and it's great, only 34s though...! I'm still under a truck topper. Next build will be a flat bed I think! Good luck on your build!

Came from IG! Def look into getting an OBD2 Bluetooth adapter and FORScan for your phone. Gives you a ton of information if it starts to run weird or gives you issues Edit: they’re cheap btw like 20-50usd. Just make sure it’s one that can read the PCM correctly

If you were closer to me in Northern Ontario I’d say come over and grab some parts… I’ve got 3 ‘08 F350s for parts that you could get your axles and suspension from. I also have 7.3 trucks here. That’s most likely a 100GPH FASS or Air Dog fuel pump and filter set up. Both are good 👍 I’ve installed both before.

KZbin video came out great. You've mentioned on Instagram that you're interested in the 05+ axle swap, something else to consider is that PMF makes a rear spring hanger that will make it so you can get the longer rear leafs from the newer trucks. I believe 08-10 had a stiffer spring compared to 11+. I'm personally going to use a Carli full replacement rear spring kit they designed with Deaver, they even have an option for trucks with 1000+ pounds in the bed at all times which may work for your application. Stoked on the build and your content! Edit - Clearly I commented before finishing the video, lol. Definitely consider the rear hanger conversion so you can run 08+ Carli rear leafs. CJC Offroad can piece together Carli kits depending on your application.

those two white things at the 5 minute mark are the fuel filter and water/fuel separator. they're cummins/fleetguard ones, which is kinda interesting for a powerstroke tho at the end of the day filters are filters. cool tailights bro!

the 7.3 makes little power but they are hearty. The transmission is the weak part. In my opinion.

You should check out carrick customs for front suspension, it allows you to keep your current front axle, but convert it to coils!
