We test the 2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT at BikeReview.com.au, and despite some issues with the suspension find the same core machine that has made the Tracer 900 such a winner, with a host of extras to justify that GT tag and premium.
On the Tracer 900 GT the sports-touring aspect is taken to a new level with the inclusion of standard fitment 20L hard panniers in matt black, cruise control, heated grips, a quick shifter, fully adjustable forks, an higher spec rear shock with external preload adjuster and a TFT display. Oh and the
‘Midnight Black’ colour scheme which pays a bit of homage to the various SP model colour-schemes in its own way, with blue highlights and silver feature panels on the Midnight Black.
On paper it’s a well spec’d machine ready to take it to the standard Tracer 900, but the price is also $18,199 RRP + ORC in Australia, which adds a further $1200 premium on to the 2018 GT premium of $1500 for a total of $2700.
