No they did NOT Listen to the customers. Just watch the Video from shock Therapy "why Yamaha has a Bad GEOMETRY" and you will understand. Even watch Out for the competition Car From x-raid to See which Changes they Had to do to make this Car good. It is a shame that Yamaha still does Not Made those changes by themself and still is Not going to offer the best SSV Out there !!!! So the YXZ will NEVER be taken for SERIOUS around the Scene. It will keep beeing Just a nice toy forever.... with all it's issues.

Bob Stubs it has less power, travel, and the seats are mounted weird compared to the can ams. The only better thing about this over the razor 1000 is more power. I’m just giving what I’ve researched. It may be wrong

Don’t fixate on the horsepower...I did just a Weller tune and I can beat a RZR 1000 N/A. I raced Turbo 4 seat and beat it up comp hill at buttercup. The power is there but numerous “bolt on’s” can significantly increase it. The build quality and reliability is second to none!

Reliability? Maybe if you ignore all the clutch and trans problems. Look it up. I'm a Yamaha guy and until they install a low range , I'll stick with the X3 and my Banshee. It's odd. Yamaha has the ability to build an incredible belt drive. It should be an option.

@@TheBandit7613 I think X3 Czar at the top of the food chain I own a yxz I've done a few cheap mods and it runs pretty hard for an NA I have a 17 SS put in an air box spacer pipe tune and a lighter flywheel and it rips pretty good that being said I'm highly impressed with what Can-Am is doing it seems like these X3 are bulletproof no matter how much horsepower you add to them

Chris Baumgarten There are VERY few clutch and transmission problems. We have four in our group and not one issue. Look at the main YXZ guys on KZbin, they are tough as hell. I agree Can Am X3 Turbo is a good unit but it’s more expensive. The whole point of my post is to just say my experience with the YXZ has been great!

As far as technical trails go, i feel yamaha still has ways to go. But I genuinely feel like their headed in the right direction , if we could only get a grizzly with that 850 / 1000 👏

The quads wont see the 1000 ever because of the dimensions and weight of the triple but im sure they could fit the 850 twin in there. Maybe then i would come back to yamaha. For now my xxc outlander will have to do

I have 600 miles on my 2019 YXZ SS SE, it is there NOW. Gearing is perfect for all types of terrain and the quality fit and finish cannot be matched in the industry.

Yes I know...a paddle shift manual. It has a auto clutch. Id love to see one with a stick shift and manual clutch in the floor!!! That would be so much fun. Would love to see manual clutch and 5 speeds return on quads too. A 1000cc quad with a manual hand clutch and 5 speed like the sport quads of the past would be a freakin blast!!!!

No, they make a fully manual one, clutch pedal and all. This model is the SS, which stands for sport shift. The base model has a sequential manual transmission. At least that was the case last year. Maybe they ditched the manual one entirely for 2019, but even so, the old manual ones are fairly cheap used.

well ill have to check into it. I know their Yamaha sport quads like Raptor still have a manual clutch. But I dont recall seeing any side by side of any brand ever sporting a manual clutch whether hand or foot operated. Ill check it out thanks

Just put the R1M engine in it already, PLEASE!!! It is a tested and proven engine that makes insane power. Slap it to the 2wd or 4wd sequential system in the YXZ

Needs a LOW RANGE, 72” width, internal bypass shocks, and 20”/21” travel f/r. Would also be cool if they put the R1 engine in it. They could make a $30k one with all the above and be fantastic. Even make a $35k version that is street legal. Lol.
