201cc Pitsterpro LXR Build | New Parts!

2015 Pitsterpro LXR.
Shes starting to come together, still waiting on a few more parts but let me know what you guys think of the build so far 🤙🏼

Absolutely love your bike builds and your channel. I’m currently building a LXR myself and had one many years ago when they first came out around 2010, i’ve had over 50 bikes the past 15 years but the LXR is by far the comfiest and well build (china) bike. I’d love to see a comparison video one day of the LXR vs Slowracer vs BBR! Keep rippin man! 🤙🏼

I’ll definitely do a comparison video of all the bikes i have soon as this is done and race ready! What LXR do you have? Crf plastic?

@@JesseK410 I look forward to that video man! It's a from the ground up build, already have the frame, CNC swingarm like yours and some other parts. I'm actually from Europe so parts hard pretty hard to get here haha. It's got the TTR plastics on it right now but I want to switch it to full red crf110 fenders aswell and build a little Honda Factory bike! I need a different subframe so the crf fenders align and mount up, but I cant find one anywhere! If you ever come across one I would really appreciate it if you could let me know! Btw, those 14 inch lxr bikes like yours are very rare. Back in the day a lot of guys in Belgium run the 12/14 set up on the 14 inch LXR frame because it's a little bigger and I've heard they handle amazing.

So i have been hearing the same thing about running the 12/14 wheels on the 14 edition chassis, bc its bigger i think thats why its more comfortable an i could see it handling good. The 14 edition also has longer forks I noticed. The subframe is all you need to convert yours to crf110 plastcis bc they used the same tank as on your bike! These swingers are the lighter ones an also you can adjust them with the pull rods (not sure how thats done) witch is a cool feature…ill keep my eyes out for a few subframes, i also need one and i even reached out to Pitsterpro in USA but unfortunately they don’t have any left. If i see any though i will let you know buddy 🤘🏼

Thanks for video , what is your opinion on rear linkage in pitster .How does it work ?Is it good idea in pitbike? Do you feel any difference in handling compering bbr and pitster ?

I’m looking for a decent header for my yx to weld a og can to. What would you suggest? I only need the header. Only about 12 inches I have the rest.

What year is yours? Is it a LXR?

@@alexscott5990 ok cool so yeah the swingers are interchangeable on all the LXR models. They had the 12 edition and 14 edition swingers. This one is a 14 edition so its longer bc its made for the bigger 14” wheel .. the 12 is obviously made for the smaller 12” rear wheel..personally there both nice just this billet one is lighter, stronger and has adjustable pull rods witch im not entirely sure what they do I haven’t messed with them at all

the yx motor is a 160 from ssr or the ebay one

This one came from a SSR 160 TX, but all the YX engines are exactly the same. SSR just puts their covets on them thats all

Both good carbs, i have used the vm26 and also bunch of PWK keihin carbs…i would say PWK if its on a bigger bore engine

What rear shock model is that? Fit for Honda 110?

Its a elka shock made for the TCB and LXR pitbikes.. here is the link to the same one i have here..its to long for a crf110. @@JesseK410 ok, sweet! Got a hold of rXF 150 and my son and I wanna deck this thing out. Engine swap, suspension, wheels, not much info on this thing, but looks very similar to LXR. It came with 17/14 so kinda like mini biggy.

@@cliffmello oh there ya go, sounds like a nice bike for sure…I like the big wheels its not as quick as the 12/14 wheels but its definitely fun on deep tracks and obviously makes the bike sit a lil taller witch is nice but most people that race pitbike woud classify this bike as a play bike because of the bigger wheels and longer wheel base and bigger chassis

Yea, couldn’t beat the price for what it is. Prob change it to 14/12 if marzoochi will Fit. Were also Looking at getting another - Either ycf or a pitster 150 for base. You rec one over the other? Thanks man,

@cliffmello yeah i agree. They should work long as 46/48 triples. I think there both decent starter bikes but anything new is made much cheaper than how they were made back in the early 2000s so thats just one thing to keep in mind when buying a new pitbike

How do these tires compare to the mitas pitcross?

The work the best for the type of riding and racing im going to be doing with it. The Mitas are good but arguably to big an beefy. When the tire on the pitbike is wider than whats on the big bike theres something wrong there lol.. i tried the big mitas on the other pitbikes with the 12 and 14” wheels and it think there good but only if you got the power to back it up. The rear tire is heavy an causes issues with the clutch if its not built bc of how much grip the mitas c20 rear gets. Another thing to keep im mind is rotational mass when doing the heavier more beefy tires. On this bike with the 14 and 17” wheels i prefer to keep it normal spec tires opposed to running the big beefy mitas tires you started to see a lot of the guys running the smaller wheels get into. These mx53s is what i run on my 450 so thats another reason i used them on this bike, bc i know they work well in the terrain i ride on…
