It shouldn’t have much if any play i would say its possible the shock bushings or the swingarm pivot bearings could be worn out. My bikes are all tight really no slop and very minimal movement if any. But my bikes have a lil different setup than the pirinha. My lower shock mount has a 5/8s metal bushing that actually pinches the lower shock bushing so there wont be any movement there. Most bikes only bolt in and often times it gets sloppy over time and even seen the actual bolt wear out and not be tight into the bearing any more you know what i mean?..

Okay, I figured it shouldn't have slop like that... It's brand new so it's not worn. I guess I will get the local machines to make me some bushings. Thanks again Jesse!

@@JesseK410 yeah if you get a chance check out wholesale cycles and you can see how the rear shock connects to the swingarm, when I put it together I thought it was a good design. Than when I put it on a stand so I could grease the swingarm bolt I felt it clunk, started looking figured it was the top shock mount but saw the movement. Called them and they said that all the piranha 190s do that... kinda bummed but I'm going to remedy the issue. I wanted to check with you because if your 190 did it than I would have left it alone. Sorry so long winded.

@@user-jh8wb4nl7h yeah looks like it just bolts up nothing to pinch the lower shock bushing. I also dont own a pirinha all my bikes are either SSR, BBR or Pitsterpro.. all 3 have different setup than the pirinha does, on my slowracer i had some play so what i did was drill and 5/8s hole and added a aluminum spacer that pinches the lower shock an keeps it from having any movement, only time ill get any play or slop is when the bushings are worn out. When i fixed that issue i also replaced the bolt with a new stainless steel one that doesn’t show any threads where it go through the bushing, ive seen some that the threads didn’t protrude completely thru that bushing an that can cause some movement bc its not the same diameter as the non threaded section of the bolt. Let me know how you make out and if i ever an around another pirinha ill have a look and see how much play they have. Some play is okay but you wouldn’t want to much as that could cause it to wear out the bushing quickly

So im 145lbs and ended up doing .48kg springs in the front and went to a 5.7 rear spring, it was revalved for my weight and for a expert rider…i chose to run the optional bladder cap for rear shock that helps with shock fade. I can say they nailed it im very happy with it..

I got them off ebay, there 12 inch front and rear. Got the tires off ebay too there scooter tires and i used the tubes. Definitely wasn’t easy to install but they have been on there sense 2013 if you can believe that. They been on multiple different bikes over the years too

No its not a crf110 exhaust, its a SSR 160TX header paired with a BBR D2 muffler i got from my MM12P but you could use any D2 muffer really there all the same just the mounting bracket is slightly different from bike to bike

Nope a 28mm carb isn’t to big for the 160cc it’s perfect in my opinion. Ide run a PWK28 or a PE but you will make more consistent power with the PWK

Haha there was just one for sale for a wile for $1500 and it sold the other day! That would have been a come up. Only thing it was missing was the original wheels with the nice billet hubs. You might have seen it, was the one with the green wheels

@@JesseK410 I’m actually from Europe and to find an SSR slowracer is like finding an unicorn here! I had one about 10 years ago and sold way too soon. It had a Red Baron swingarm aswell, bike handled amazing. It was pretty much a replica of the Slowracer Red baron that they used for one of their team bikes in one of the last years they raced minimotosx in Vegas. Been trying to find it for a couple of years now but it might have ended up at the other side of Europe or in someone’s shed who has no idea how bad I want it back lol 😂

Unfortunately no, its not compatible with klx or crf110 its designed for this ssr tx frame and uses a honda crf50 exhaust port so its different

Thank you! I appreciate that. The wheels i bought off ebay back in 2013 and installed some scooter tires on them. Both are 12” rims with Avon tires i also got off ebay. The wheels aren’t very wide so the tires were quite the challenge to get on without popping tubes lol. They are tubeless tires but you gotta run tubes with spoked rims obviously otherwise the air will just leak out

Yeah you can do some mods to the ssr 110 but your best bet is probably just to upgrade to one of these SSR TX bikes, its a huge improvement over the ssr 110 chassis is and way better suspension and already comes with a YX160cc

Lol klotz is really good stuff. We all ran the maxima super m. Same thing with the pre mix, the dude at the shop got us all on that. I can say I never had any issues with any motors I had though. Good stuff.

Original SSR 150TX pipe with a fmf4.1 big bike decal cut down to fit this pipe. Its basically a fmf4.1 knock off made by china lol

Mostly because the valves that come in the stock heads are weak and stretch then snap off and kaboom! Bye bye piston and top end lol.. they often have issues with broken kicker gears bc of the compression and decomp spring often being weak and causing issues with the decompression unit. Sometimes it will cause what we call kick back and thats what breaks the gear off inside..

Sweet build, I just bought a piranha 190... What would be the best way to make it dependable and long lasting. I thought I was getting the strongest best pit bike, but now I'm worried.

Could I put the 2v head on my 190?

@@user-jh8wb4nl7h its a solid engine for sure if you dont beat on it to bad and do oil changes often you will be good but if you race it i would suggest building the head and mbe some stiffer clutch springs but otherwise they fine long as you start them up correctly and have it jetted right

Bought new and used a welder to modify to work with this frame bc they dont make exhaust for the crf70 that works with this V2 race head and none that are big bore diameter piping so gotta make a custom

Yeah same here this is essentially the best of a klx engine and crf50 engine in one combo. Imo better than daytona and klx engines. YX engines have been more reliable at the higher Hp applications bc the transmission is stronger than the klx110 gear box is. But overall much lighter than both daytona engines and klx110 engines! 🤘🏼 rippers

What size jets are you running in then now? It really all depends on your environment, temperature and elevation..im at sea level and ride in cooler weather usually

@@JesseK410 running a 110 main, 42 pilot, 1 3/4 out on pilot. Mind you it's a motard build, and has a velocity stack with no filter on. Runs sweet but I find the PWKs to be very temp sensitive. Also I'm at sea level or 300m above sea level, 20-35°C ambient temp.

@@WesleyCharlesBlake yeah but the PWK is a better carb if you wanna make all the power the pe28 are inconsistent i use to run one an switched to all PWKs now but i would recommend just reading your spark plug an adjust the jetting based on what the color of the plug looks like, the bottom portion is the top end range the middle is gonna be your mid range (clip adjustment) and the top portion of the spark plug can tell you idle range and timing on the strap of the plug up top.. the spark plug doesn’t lie i like to say haha. And make sure you start with a fresh plug to get accurate reading. You wouldn’t be able to use an old spark plug and change the jetting and try to tell bc the used plug already has carbon build up on it, unless its running to lean and is still white of course…

Haha that would be sick! Or get a honda crf150r and take the engine out and toss a xr100 engine or something like that in there would be sick cuz u would have good suspension and the engine wouldn’t be to powerful

@@JesseK410 yeah, I have thought about doing that, but it would take quite a bit of fabrication work to get the engine to sit snug in there, and maintain an air box. I've considered buying CR85 forks, and an elka shock, and using some BBR parts to help stiffen the frame. But I'm going to wait till the budget gets a little bigger, then I can build it out to the monster I know it can be
