2020 All New Axopar 37 XC Cross Cabin Revolution Full UK Review

Join James Lumley from Axopar London Group on a full in-depth tour of the awesome new 2020 Axopar 37 XC Revolution, just arrived with us in Poole UK. This particular boat has been built to a client's own specification, availability on new-builds is now late summer 2020, so please get in touch if you would like to find out more.
The new 37 Mkii is available in 3 models - Spyder (open), Sun-Top (with opening Bimini/hard-top) and XC (cross cabin) with full cabin enclosure.
Aft deck options include a fixed double berth (day cruiser aft cabin), storage locker with sunpad above, wetbar (with sink etc) or completely open.
The boat seen here is the XC with aft cockpit wetbar package.
Standard suggested power is a pair of twin Mercury V8 300hp outboard motors, with the option for twin Mercury 350 Verado (supercharged in-line 6cyl). JPO (Mercury joystick) with optional skyhook (for station hold) is also available.
A realistic good specification with twin 300hp engines is approx €260,000-280,000 Euros including Vat ‘on-the-water’.

Been living beside the water most of my life and been on hundreds of boats but never had the pleasure of owning one.. Im 50 now and would love to slow down and start to relax and would love to own one now but at my age am i too old to buy a sea going boat and have to learn everything from the start... just curious ive friends who say dont be daft go for it then others who say im past it theres too much to learn.. hahahahaha.. theyre still friends by the way.. thanks for any advice you could throw my way..

Jimbo, GO FOR IT!!! I’m in exactly the same position as you, but add 10+ more yrs.!! I’ve narrowed my retirement joy to either the Axopar 28 XC or the Saxdor 320 GTC. Boat driving courses, navigation, VHS course, learning Radar, Fish finding, berthing, hull maintenance, engine maintenance, tying knots, anchoring.. throw in a FLIR, and this all = FUN and LEARNING! My retirement ain’t gonna be boring 😎

If it was cold out, Say like 5° c, If you were out for a week, how long would the 20 l of diesel fuel last for the heater?

The system burns around 0.5Lph at max heat, less as you turn it down. So if you average 5hrs running per day even at max, that’s 8 days of usage.

Hi yes the anchor hatch and fwd cushions are removable. The cushion on top of the optional storage box comes with fitted cover, as it is effectively the locker lid.

Hi Kevin, the Mercury JPO joystick is available as a factory extra.
