2020 Beta 2-Stroke Enduro Test Rides - 125 RR / 250 RR

Just a casual test ride on the 2020 Beta 125 RR and 250 RR enduro bikes. Both of them were excellent bikes and the entire demo event was a lot of fun.

125 was a blast. Felt and sound loaded up when I rode it later in the day. Assuming you rode the 300... what did you think?

Yeah Jeff that 125 was a lot of fun, I would have loved if they let us take them out on the track because the 125 would've been amazing there! I didn't get a chance to ride the 300 unfortunately :( Between breaking in my new bike on the track, teaching a friend how to ride for the first time, and filming the demo rides with Taylor, the day went by so fast and I only ended up riding 4 of the bikes

@@DerekHallman Ah, gotcha. Think I did 13 loops total but just head home afterwards. Not a track guy in the least but would like to get more comfortable for the occasional section in hare scrambles. I liked the 200, 300, and 390 the most.

That bike has a wide ratio gears, you shouldn't be doing unnecessary shiftings because each gear from 1st to 3rd is more than poweful enough to give you a fast acceleration.

You should've tested the 200 2 stroke! It's a really great compromise between the amateur and the pro rider skills levels

I wish I could have! The 200 was being worked on by a mechanic for the majority of the day and I didn't get a chance to ride it

You forgot Sherco. My opinion is Beta and Sherco are the best option for French bikes.

Fantic doesn't produce 2 strokes anymore, except for the 50 cc. They used GasGas engines for the old 125, 250 and 300 enduro bikes, which were good in hard enduro. TM is a really well made brand, now they use fuel injected 2 strokes to keep up against the law restrictions, but if you want to ride hard paths they're not the best and especially the 125. Beta remains the most "extreme" Italian bike nowaday, it's meant to be ridden in such narrow and stip places.

No secrets, I just used the internal mic on the GoPro Hero3+ Black. It has the best mic compared to any other GoPro in my opinion!

Kai Ferreira This summer I got a 2019 KTM 250 2 stroke and it is the best bike I have owned. Before this one I had a 300 2 stroke and the 250 just feels much better! The 300 has a little more bottom end torque but they feel the same in power actually. 250 feels just as light as a 125 with the power of a 300, can’t get much better!

@@ool3062 Most of them are quite close in weight. I had a quick look at the beta specs and the 125 is 9kg lighter than the 250/300. My favourite bike was my ktm200 wich has been discontinued but I see Beta makes a 200cc...
