No problem. Oakleys are very nice and expensive. I recently have had my Blenders fly off my helmet several times for them to be recovered with little to any scuffs additionally when they went a flying I wasn’t stressing due to their price point. If they were Oakleys and because of their price point I would’ve been butt hurt. Hope that helps too. I do enjoy my Blenders Eyewear!!! 😎🤙🏾

How has the lense held up so far? I just bought the Eclipse/Royal Crusader and waiting on them in the mail (I like the full frames because I tend not to smudge them with my fingers). They definitely look the part! The only negative comments I've ever seen for Blenders are the lenses aren't as scratch resistant as other brands...but I can buy three of these for the price of Sutros!

To be honest, due to this Pandemic much of my riding is indoors. I haven't put them through any outdoors tests. The shades that I had for over a year lenses are still up to par and that's not to give them praise, but it's because I take good care of them. Regardless, as you've said, "they're cheaper than a lot of other brands, which allows for more purchases and options"... That's if they don't hold up. I believe they've been put through there processes, because the Founder was a surfer/snowboarder and they too heavily rely on their eye protection. We truly shall see!!! Please share with me your findings as we progress through this together. 🕊

I like the style of these a lot, but on the cycling one it has that part for the nose bridge continuing on the outside of the glasses, and I've noticed in some sunglasses that have that I can just slightly see it when I wear it, and it's almost dizzying cause it splits your focus. You know what I mean? Can you see that part at all when it's on?

Gotcha. Yeah, I don't have an issue with the frame piece coming down into the nose rest. My pet peeve is the frame on the outside lower quandrant of the lenses. Have to almost break your neck to look over your shoulder for traffic. 😎🤙🏾

Alan Estrada I typically looked for some knock off from the original. The shades I gave my son were the FAKE 100% S2. I originally got them from AliExpress and if you look further through my channel you will see the unpackaging. Regardless of the brand or quality I try to take very good care of my sunglasses because they of course protect the eyeballs. I like them - I really do. For me no shades keep me fully from tearing when it’s cold out and descending, but all-n-all these things are spot on and the price point is amazing!!! Concerning watering eyes, even when I don’t wear shades they initially water and then once eyes are awake and used to it - they typically don’t water any more throughout any ride. 😎

Yes Sir. I took good care of them. The two areas they started to go were... 1. The nose piece: would fall off. I could've glued it on, but didn't. 2. I've tried on sunglasses that were under $30 and they didn't work out, not comfortable or something about them bugged me so I'm a little bit nervous about trying Blenders. They're prices are low and affordable but, are they comfortable? I got a pair of Ray Bans and Oakleys and they're over $100 and they're comfortable and they're keepers. 1. The discount code area should be located near and around the area of putting credit card info in. 2. The Wheel, it may be for an another discount of some sorts - not very clear on this one. 3. Only issue is the colored lens coating came off on the edges, but after reaching out to them, they replaced them - easy day, good customer service. 4. As good as Oakleys, I feel they’re two different brackets of comparison. That’s like saying is a Dawes Bike as good as a Trek Bike. They both work, one is more expensive with way mire tech put in it. Therefore, the Blenders Eyewear Shades work very well and they’re polarized. I really like them. I’ve worn Oakleys, 100%, and they’re different but for the price point, I could get 3 or 4 pair of Blendz for the price of 1-pair of Oakleys. Additionally, I have a discount code: CRIT16. Since this vid, I’ve ridden them on every ride. I prefer lenses without the lower or outside edge frame because of having to look over our shoulders, but I have zero complaints. The only suggestion and request that I made to Blenders was to come out with some clear interchangeable lenses and we’ll see what the future holds. 🤓

For their price point, I truly think they’re good quality. I bought some cheap-o shades off Etsy last year and they held up. I think it comes down to how we tend to our shades. As for scratches...I haven’t encountered any of noticeable defect. I have two pair I wear when riding and another pair leisurely and they all do me well. I think because they aren’t a very hard plastic they absorb fall better than hard plastic shades. No problem for the questions, I appreciate them and love the dialogue. 🕊
