@damians8498 doesn't matter, they are heavier than Carbon fiber and Magnesium wheels, Litespeed racing rims are insanely light at least 5-10lbs lighter than the stock rims so with that much rotation mass weight savings solid a car to two car difference on a roll maybe more since they are going over 160, and anyone who can afford an M8 can afford these rims....

Look at the details before commenting, around minute 2:58 you can clearly see his brake lights going off at the same time m3 started. 2nd race m3 starts almost half a car behind . Race 1 I did slightly jump a bit but it was the same jump that m8 did on 2nd race and cars were neck on neck 🫠

M8 is nice , rear seat removal, lite weight exhaust and magnesium wheels ...would help it on the rolls ....it's already fast off the line and that's really what it's designed for....0-60 and 1/4 mile...I rarely see it win rolls against cars with similar hp

While the S63T4 has proven to be capable of over 800+ wheel on stock turbos, the S68 has proven to be capable of around 260whp over stock using a JB4 only (and higher octane fuel), taking it up to 855whp from 595awhp on the stock map. Not bad considering that’s stock hardware and stock tune. Just fuel and boost. I have no doubt that bolt ons and an actual tune would get over 900+ to the wheels on the stock turbos. Pretty impressive that they gave the S58 and S68 turbos of this size. Nothing crazy, but it would be a healthy turbo upgrade back in the day

@@poisonova1 Are you talking about the S63 or S68? Burger motorsports has results on their website. I forgot to mention that it was a hybrid (XM) but that was also with a jb4 and stock hardware. So i imagine hardware mods and a proper tune should make more. Rods aren’t a real issue if torque comes on later, 700lb-ft at 7k rpm is ~930hp, it should have no problem holding I won’t talk about reliability because i haven’t seen anything long term yet nor have i looked much into it. Just speaking about potential,

Going on e40 and pushing these turbos are putting the engine to its limits. The rods aren't really strong. So unless your willing to build the bottom end, you have really be careful on the custom e40 tunes.
