@@gonzodetroitify The Harmon k. Logic 7 System. It has great clarity and more bass than I even need. I still want to personally hear the Burmeister, the Bowers & Wilkins in the Volvo XC 90 and the last one that some say is the best out there....Bentley by Naim.

I noticed in my X3 that the sound is better via USB, that being said though I think wireless carplay is too convenient to give up for slightly better audio.

Exactly my thoughts, I tested those speakers out on the dealer it sucks bad. No base, no crispness, no highs, no lows. Just an average loud speaker.

Like the gesture control, I have a Skoda with it, but it isn't as feature packed as bmw so can't do volume, have used it when I drove an M5, its gimmicky but cool!

This X5 got 7 speakers,7 tweeters, and 2 under-seat woofers....not to forget bmw uses a stage/concert style sound setup, what that means is you will hear most of the sound from the front three speakers and tweeters,u won't hear much from the rear door speakers/tweeters and rear shelf speakers/tweeters.. Don't expect "Dolby Atom" sound system in bmw...and the best top-sounding system for bmw is audison, you won't regret installing audison sounds far better.

We have bmw x7 And I always wondered why most of the sound comes from front. Although everything is balanced. Even though the quality of the sound is amazing the overall experience is not unfortunately.

Great audio review as always. I have this car and audio option. I’m not an audiophile but I was expecting more form this HK especially since it was a ~$900 upgrade. The interior was very quiet, so it would be an excellent place to listen to music at a low volume - the way I prefer. Do you have any sound setting recommendations for this car? I tried a couple of suggested calibration from bmw forums, but I still feel the “hollowness” you mentioned. Thanks!

I like your videos but you should recognize that an equalizer has "bands", not channel's. A channel has to do with the output of an amplifier into separate signals to a certain number of speakers such as a 7 channel surround sound system. The equalizer bands refer to a frequency along the sound spectrum
