The typical snow park in North America will use Burton Snowboards as a beginner board for the average tourists. However, This 2020 Burton Flying V is excellent and goes heel to toe like a champ. It’s worth a demo if your looking.

While travelling to Switzerland the airline managed to destroy my Burton Ripcord… thinking of what to buy next without being too adventurous… would the Flying V be a good upgrade but still playful enough (not too intimidating) or should I just buy another Ripcord?

I just got this board brand new 2019 model. Are those lines in the rope of the board normal? The dark lines where the scoop technology is it do I have a defect. Seems the board in this video has it as well

Thanks for video! I am upgrading from an old custom and I want a board where I can easily butter on intermediate runs but still be able to aggressively carve down and bomb runs on advanced hills. Would you recommend the Process Flying V, Process Camber, or the Kilroy Twin (preciously Kilroy Process)? Thanks!!

The Process (bit.ly/2GjWQmx) and the Kilroy (bit.ly/37mMBK5) should perform about the same. I would say to get either one of those, and if you can't decide between the two, just pick which ever graphic you like better!

thanks for the review. I got this board a week ago and really enjoyed it. If I want to make it twin do I need to adjust both bindings .5 inch towards the nose?

Just make sure the bindings are equal in distance from the tips (nose and tail) of the snowboard. Use a tape measure to figure this out.

Is this board recommended for someone who is not that good but can do basic boarding. I just do trails only. I mostly go to mammoth and stay on blues with an occasional black diamond run.

Anybody (maybe TH can answer too) on preferred flex based on weight? I'm 6'2" 195 and I cant help but think the process could be too soft for me. I'm a new rider that can ride switch fairly easy. Was considering the Custom flying V twin as well. Everybody seems to suggest that flex is only based on ride style and skill level. But I cant help but think a heavier than avg rider might need slightly stiffer

Weight definitely plays a role. The Process is probably too soft for you. I think the Custom Flying V would be a great board for you and your specs.

Hi guys I'm having some trouble deciding between the Burton Process Flying v (155 or 157) and the Capita Outerspace Living (156). Looking for an all mountain board that can rip around groomers pop and play on side hits around the resort hitting all those natural features. From what i can see these 2 boards are similar, any advise on this? I'm 182cm , 155lb. size 9.5 boots. intermediate rider and plan to put Burton Cartels on the board. Cheers!

I'm 175cm and 150ib and I ride a 155cm. If you want a more park focused board get the smaller one. But if you want to do everything, get the 157cm :). Hope this helped. Also I have the exact board in this video and it's great for everything

Just to be clear I'm telling now my own opinion. This flying v thing is fking terrible. It's unusable and I simply can't ride with it. I refunded and bought flat
