I ordered mine HD10 Limited. Dealer says I will have it mid Feb. I went with the silver. The AC and heater with the tight cab is going to be nice here in Idaho. I can't wait !!…. Pocatello Power Sports is my Can-Am go to dealer.

Does anyone know where the 10 more hp comes from, is it just software tuning. I just bought a 19 defender xmr and find the power lacking a little, 72 hp is not enough when in skeg.

Does/did the Can-am Defender 1000 XT-P have Fox shocks? I read that they may have been removed. Difficult to find info on this model as BRP scrubs data of previous years from its website.

I'm getting a 6x6 in a few days. Can am doesn't offer the limited package on their 6x6s(wtf?), so the dealer cost to make my 6x6 into a limited, minus the AC, is about 10k

They should of adapted this platform into the 900/ 1000 model. The 800 was a miserable machine with the heat issues. Passengers got their butts fried unless you did extensive mods to remediate the heat. Needed power steering if you used it in the woods a lot. Especially with bigger tires. Miss mine. But not enough be buy another one. Can Am Defender 6x6 far superior right out of the box. And way quieter.

They need a turf mode on that 6x6 or it will fail just like the polaris one did. Having 4 tires rip up everything they touch is just really really bad for business

The 6x6 is not for turf or nice yard. It is for work

Turf mode is also good for those times you're on pavement or concrete and need to be turning tight areas. Allows wheels to run at different speeds as opposed to scrubbing and torque binding differentials. Eventually something will break. I can also understand the reasons for not having turf mode, as people will try to run it while loaded in difficult terrain, again stressing drive components. Still would like the option myself. And a selectable full locking front diff.
