She has already changed the wheels (to black), got the stupid huge suitcase muffler cut off, windows tinted, and the pitiful sound system is getting upgraded next week. With what we paid, $32999, and $2300 in the mods I mentioned it is still cheaper than the competitors and an amazing bang for your buck car. I ordered a 2020 LT1 that was delivered just before the world closed down. I'm a baby boomer that has alway loved Camaros. Since 1997, I've owned seven( if you count a minor deviation of a 2002 Firebird) My last was a 2015 1SS 6- speed manual. The 2015 was pretty basic. Being retired, the LT-1 cost was intriguing at 4k less than the 1 SS. Although I prefer the manual, the 10 speed tap lets my wife drive the car. I took the extra $$$ and ordered the "technology package", 10 speed transmission, carbon painter wheels and a spoiler. Granted, there are many technical improvements since 2015 but I do feel like I traded up. If the suspension doesn't bother you, as it doesn't bother me, and you are ok not having the 275 tires and Brembo brakes at the rear (Brembo is on the front) this car is really not too much different than the basic 1SS. Would I prefer a C-8? Of course, but if you look quickly the badge looks like a "ZL 1"-- I know blaspony. If you want the bells and whistles go to the 2SS but thats 8K more. I'm very happy with my LT1.

Wow this has to be the back breaker to the Toyota Zupra. As of today, my local Toyota dealer marks it up over 60k when the total price is finished. This car right off the bat has a V8 which is great, but Chevy still uses the pushrod design which is tons more reliable than that pos BMW twin scroll engine, oh btw the timing chain sits in the back (costly repair... Yeah I have an Audi A7), but anyway back to what I'm saying, this is truly a bargain price, and I will pick one up maybe around the end of the year for more savings. Oh and excellent job Chevy for redoing the front end. This 2020 looks much better than the 2019.
@robertjakicic58784 жыл бұрын
The front end is basically borrow from the V6 RS Camaro. If you buy the LT1 it is a must to get the dual mode exhaust as this car has in the video . If not the V6 exhaust note will sound better. When you get insurance on this car it will come up as an SS an not a LT1. Even though the car says LT1 your driving a car with an SS power train.

Too many reviews of the LT1 make it sound almost as if it's a Pinto with a V8. Its more like the SS without the butt warmer. colored LED lights on in the inside, fluff like that. The LT1 has the same Brembo breaks of front. Same performance suspension as the SS. (Mag. ride is in the track option on the SS). as Standard you get the 40 series tires on 20" wheels, not on the lower trim levels (50 on 18) (V6,V4) and the extra cooling as the SS. I have the LT1 with RS and Redline edition. Satin Steel Gray Metallic. Redline option changes the look of the front a bit. Click around on the Chevy site in the build your own section. The RS combined with Redline option changes the appearance quite a bit. And as you can see LT1 has the SS hood. If I lived where the palm trees grow, I would get the SS just for the bigger size tires, goes real good with that 6.2. But i'm stuck here in snow country and need the all season tires the LT1 comes with. It will help a bit.
@craigpennington12514 жыл бұрын
I do like how it looks but not the wheels and tires. Not a fan of the LOW PRO tires. They just will not take the punishment. They blow out easy and the rims go with it. Had it happen. Next, if it doesn't have a standard shift trans, it's a no go, period.

Good video but if you’re going to sell cars and do videos, then don’t use terms like I don’t believe that is a option. Be precise. Saying things like I don’t believe it’s a option just shows you don’t know. This is not meant to be offensive. Just some friendly advice. Especially when building the car online it clearly states there’s an option to have the car in a convertible style equipped the same way. I’ve purchased way to many new cars then I should and I can tell you I’ve walked away from more salesman then I’ve purchased from because they don’t know there products they are selling. As a consumer it’s frustrating.

@@ChevyCLE Really that is surprising I thought people were no longer buying Camaros and cars in general. I do not see a lot of them on the roads maybe it's a regional thing in Southeast GA all you see people driving is stupid trucks!

Not with the all season tires that are all the same size (SS models have staggered sizes), standard V6 rear brakes (non-Brembo), and most importantly, missing 2 oil coolers. You take an un-modified LT1 to the track and run it hard, it won't perform near the level of an SS and you could end up with cooling issues.

Never buy a red car... Red cars are rear ended more than any other car. The contrast between the brake lights and the rear RED colored car. I dont even like following red cars... I dont want to roll into one.

You should not be driving on public roads. If you are seriously afraid of rolling into a red car because you can't see if the tail lights are on you need to sell your car, give your license to a family member or friend and stop endangering the public.

@@paulbickley658 Red and Yellow are the colors that the human eye notices the most....thats why a lot of retail stores use those colors.
