Seen that yesterday. Glad to see the Camaro around for another year. Looks like they are moving in the right direction with some of their changes but like you don't understand why they would get rid of the option to get the color matched or painted covers. The SS 1LE should have stayed manual only but I guess they are desperate for sales. Instead of building a new trim level people want, they are watering down the 1LE package again.

I am fairly sure they sold more custom Auto cars with added 1LE packs than they did the manual 1LE. Makes good business sense to make it an easier option for the end consumer

I want the 1le but I want to be able to get the red leather seats that are heated and cooled and I dont like the look of the suede steering wheel I'd rather have a heated leather wheel. If they let us get a 1le package with all the looks and the upgraded suspension etc if the 1le but let us choose our seats etc that would be perfect

I’ve always been a Camaro & Firebird lover over the years. My first car was a ‘67 Firebird, one of my favourites was my ‘79 Z28. My wife had a ‘86 Firebird new. We’ve also have had 2 ‘94 Formulas as well. It’s unfortunate that Pontiac is gone (rip). The Camaro has become bigger, heavier and more expensive over the years, like most cars. Theses cars are not as affordable at least in Canada as they were years ago. I’d be happy to buy one that was a back to basics performance car. I don’t need or want a bunch of tech stuff. I just want horsepower and a manual transmission. GM has alienated younger buyers. It’s just too expensive. Then GM says it’s not selling well, no kidding. Kids are buying Hondas because they can’t afford a Camaro. Hell Im in my 50s and I can’t either. Glad I bought a ‘91 Corvette ZR1 10 years ago. Be health and safe everyone.

@@WaltWilson get a 4th gen if you are worried about seeing out of it. Plus the money you will save you can drop a pro charger and some other upgrades and smoke almost anything on the road. The aerodynamics on the 4th gens makes then amazing drag cars as well.

They should go out with a bang by putting 500 hp on the SS that will really represent that “Super Sport” & make the SS a little bit lighter even though it is light. For the ZL1 1LE since it’s a track car I would drop more weight than its already is because having Huge HP doesn’t matter around the track but I would still keep the HP but drop the weight to like 3,500 no higher than 3,600 because the lighter you are the faster you are around the track. I wish they bring back that 5th gen halo lights or make a new design on the halo lights to put on the new gen.

I am not sure why there would be any hype/deception about GM not offering an LT2 engine in the g6. C8/LT2 engine changes from LT1 are essentially associated with the rear engine location, it apparently allowed intake, cams, header and exhaust adjustments that lead to power. At least that’s my understanding reading from GM. Not a chance the g6 camaro get a rear engine! 🤗 Thanks for listing all the minor 2021 changes though!!

Very cool that the LT1 is available w/ RS package to make it look a little cooler, closer to an SS since there is no 1le package for the LT1. Maybe a cheaper way of getting into a v8 model without excess price but still have a pretty nice looking car. The LT1 is basically a v8 in an LT body so at least we can get it dressed up to go out.

can you do a video on "dealer trades"...For example, lets say you want a particular camaro but it is 3 states over but less than 200 miles away. Do dealers not trade because they want to hold onto it to see if they can sell it, even though it might sit on their lot for weeks or months? Or do they not do a trade because there is nothing on the other chevy lot equal or comparable to what they want the trade for? I thought all chevy dealers kind of "worked" together to help out the potential customer...thanks for your time...

In January of next year I'll be buying most likely the 2020 1ss Crush color (If 2021 has better features than i'll buy it) & then fully modify it over the next couple years as the price on the chevy website is like triple times more than buying off a 3rd retailer site, but I'm really excited to finally own one after 13 years (Or whenever the First Michael Bay Transformers movie came out) Been my dream car since & also I'll be renting one this summer for around 2 weeks just to get the feel for it before I buy a 1ss. I'm a little confused when he talked about LPO Spectrum lighting as I was 100% getting that for my camaro?! like are they getting rid of spectrum lighting for the 2021 model? Mustang fan here, but its good to keep tabs on the competition. At least you got your '21MY info before we did! Shame about Shock......that's a fantastic color. FWIW, I really hope there's a 7th Gen Camaro and I hope there's no break in model years.....ie I hope it come for the '24MY. I also hope its not just an EV.....just as I hope the 7th Gen Mustang also has a range of ICE including V8s. Long live muscle/pony cars!

SInce the C8 corvette no longer offers a stick and GM has the tooling for the 7speed from the C7 corvette why don't they put it in the Camaro now! Theoretically they could make it faster AND raise the gas mileage as well, WIN/WIN,,,,,, come on GM do it !

Good informative video. I sold my '96 ss model way back in 2010 when my son was born but lately been itching to get another when he's older and I can eventually drop mini van. If 2023 is the last year I need to seriously consider looking at that. Otherwise its mustang baby! haha. I was thinking I go light with a turbo 4 but dress up with 1le and rs packages. I just don't care for the face uplift of the 2019+ Camaro...the 2016-2018 had an evil grimace face, now the newer versions have sort of a jokeresque smile that just looks rather goofy. I'd love to have the newer 10 speed auto over my 8 speed auto but ive had 0 issues and its so much fun to driver. I can't see that 10 speed being enough of a draw to make me upgrade. TLDNR i love my 2017 2SS Camaro.

Well that counts me out if true no engine change especially for the ZL1...I was told by a dealer bud that for 2021 some ZL1's would get the 750hp LT5 from the ZR1 Vette and was planning or buying one if that happened.
