The 5.3L V8 is strong enough. My only gripe is GM geared it with a throttle response delay for gas savings. If you hammer down on it the Tahoe will scoot though but you have to get over that slight delay

Why does GM wait so long to update these SUVs?? I feel like they should've seen a update 2/3 years ago not 2021 Lol they all look really dated on the inside.

Huh? It was just redesigned for MY 2015. Then again, redesigned in 2021. That is not lengthy... back in the day you could go 10 or more years without changes, esp with trucks! And the interior IMO looks better in the last generation (reviewed here) compared to the newer ones.

Nope bought a 2019 Premier and all surfaces are nice to touch on interior and all the bells and whistles. Make no mistake the Tahoe is a luxury SUV

@@crucialtymes7305 None really. Getting a combined 19 MPG so for such a large vehicle I have been pleasantly surprised with that. The 5.3L is strong, but their is a slight throttle delay for fuel savings. If you hammer on the throttle it will go though, but you have to get over that initial slight delay as GM geared these vehicles for fuel savings. I don't think the 6.2L has that issue, but it requires premium gas whereas the 5.3L doesn't. Lastly it could have a slight bit more room with the 3rd row up, but with the 3rd row down it is cavernous.

@@trewright1482 I pretty much like everything about the vehicle pre 2021 but I'd prefer the 6.2L, even with high So Cal gas prices, especially premium. Hope to have it by the end of February. Thanks for the feedback!
