2020 CRF110 - Rear Shock w/ BBR Spring and 1" Extension (Modifying Mount & Test Ride)

We slightly modified the top shock mount on the frame to fit a 1" extension from Tbolt USA - running that on a stock shock with a spring from BBR. AND we finally started building the pit bike track!

Awesome build, I put Dunlop mx33’s on my 110 and it makes the grip and handling 10 times better, and without the rim lock I know you have to run at least 20 lbs of pressure to save your tubes

Im about to attempt to mount a similar shock to my crf 100f and i have been looking for some extenders that will adapt the shock to the linkage. Any thoughts on any. I cant find them so im thinking about building some.

So I just put this shock extender on my 2021.(posted a video also) It actually lined up ok without any cutting, but it feels like the rear shock has like 2 inches of travel before bottoming out. Do you think it’s because the extension is hitting that metal in the frame when moving being that I didn’t trim it??

Just a heads up to everybody! A 2” extension won’t work, I just tried it and the swing arm won’t extend down far enough to allow it because the swing arm makes contact with the frame.

Really looking forward to the float stuff. I tracked one down and want to see what the proper extension is for it. I ordered a .75 to run it stock height and a 2.25 to add the extra 1.5” when I do the rods and springs
