You can never go wrong with diamond of course these are not waterproof, but the sound is top notch and you're not running the mp694's in your bags so you shouldn't have much issues with these I'm thinking of doing the mspro654 and mo75t horns and running ms69neo for bags

I have the 6.5" PRO Full-Range Co-Ax Horn Speaker And the 8 inc Co ax horn full range in my bags by diamond audio It says that the 6.5 can handle 150 w and the 8 inc can handle 200 w how much more power can the handle with out damage them I want to add the 6x9 in the bags with the 8inc and add other 6.5 in with the lower pods I'm using two sound digital 8.4 In the fairing at 4 ohms I want to run them at 2 ohms the horns r on one and and the 6.5 woofer and 8 inc woofer are on the other one all at 4 ohms now 4 channel amps with a hki mini dsp

Does this put a real draw on the charging system of the bike? I know motorcycles put out less amps than a typical car alternator. Just curious.

Gotdamn. U don't even need the tweeters hooked up. Sheesh! I just bought these speakers..and I really wanna bridge them..only way to do it is bypass the tweeter..I just may do it now after hearing urs..then bridge 2 8ohm mid bass speakers in my lids

So i picked up a set of these to go into my bike, havent received them yet tho. Just doing the front fairing speakers. No bags, no lowers, no trunk. Trying to figure out what amp to run with these. I just want to run a single 4 channel amp to power the speakers, 2 channrls for the tweets, and 2 for the drivers. So the specs ive seen are like you stated, 300 peak 150 continuous. How much of that can the tweeter handle? The standalone diamond audio tweeters can only handle 100 peak, 50rms. The sound digital 800.4 evox amp puts out 143w continuous x 4 channels at 4 ohms. But i dont want to overpower these tweeters and destroy them. Any insight from the provided documentation from diamond audio that was included in the box that isnt on the website description? And im a rookie when it comes to audio.

I just want to get the most out of the speakers. Do they separate the pwr ratings between the driver and the horn? I got an email in to diamond audio but havent gotten a response yet.
