Are you aware that the engine rotates in the opposite direction to most others and this helps keep the front wheel on the ground.? This actively helps with anti wheelie characteristics.

I actually don‘t think it‘s bad, to me it‘s part of the bikes super bulky looks but i mean it‘s hard to argue about whether something looks good to anyone or not 😄 But i think the silver edge of the radiator needs to be optionally available in black and maybe red? It really does pronounce it.

What's annoying is that they didn't use the 2018 V4 Panigale tune on this. I own one and it wheelies like a lunatic, 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear, no problems. Changes to engine mapping and torque delivery in the 2020 Panigale V4 and now the Streetfighter means you can pin almost any gear and it won't lift the front wheel. That to me is a real shame. The Streetfighter should be the real hooligan here!

@Tim it's a good choice. I highly recommend the S1000XR, but it's a tall bike for sure. At 5'10", I can barely flatfoot it, if I were any shorter I'd be looking at different bikes. They do have a lowering kit, but that will also limit its cornering ability unless you raise the pegs.

kleinbottled79 Exactly my train of thought. As an engineer myself, stuff like this got me into doing what i‘m doing but the only bike with that kind of power i‘d spend my money on would be the H2 for dream bike purposes 😅 I mean 110hp is already quite a lot on a bike but nowadays people (especially on the internet) tend to forget that 😄

@@plusRpm I think that 110 is a bit of a tipping point as well, at least for me personally, were as a bike goes past that power level (say 110-120hp) it starts to actually detract from the fun. You feel even with 240 wheel HP and over 100 ft-lb of very-broad torque that the Ducati stands a chance? What are we comparing here? A go-kart track or a road race?

Just ordered the 2023 grey Nero. Thankfully they blacked out the brushed aluminium front end. Always looked odd especially is the ‘a’ configuration with ohlins gold forks. It’s the only Ducati where I think black/grey is the better colour. The red and gold made it look a little like Ronald McDonald’s bike

Counter rotating crankshaft helps the bike keep the bike planted, less wheelie. Counter rotating crankshaft takes a few horsepower away but helps turns with negating gyroscopic effect of tires.

@14:39 I get the joke, but for real though the newer accords can come with some surprisingly quick engines, and with just halfway-decent tires cars outgrip motorcycles in corners by a pretty absurd margin, and losing traction a bit in a car on the street is way easier to correct and far less risky. Getting dunked on by a vaguely sporty sedan on a twisty-enough road is fairly likely if the driver is at least pretty good at taking corners, no matter what motorcycle you're on.
