Just looked back on old videos and watched this for the first time. Reminds me why I feel in love with the channel. I could listen to TGV talk about most anything as he speaks with such genuine appreciation for all the aspects of each item/watch and is incredibly well spoken. A true modern day renaissance man in every sense. I always respected the integrity of reviewing a $20 watch the same way as a $10,000 watch. Hearing his artistic perspective on all the things he carries around is a relaxing, entertaining reminder of the beauty in life

Love the EDC! Glad to see it and thank you for taking the time to make it. Based on previous Urban Gentry reviews, I actually have a Laguiole en Aubrac for my work EDC and more formal occassions. I love it and get compliments on it all the time. It has remained remarkably sharp with minimal maintenance, even though I do use it with regularity. For less formal occassions, I moved away from my Spyderco to a S.O.G. Trident Mini. Lightweight, sharp, easy to open one-handed. While I have yet to purchase my first Carl Friedrik, I do carry a leather wallet by Tumi, with the RFID Protection card slots, for protection when traveling. Finally (well, not "final", I do have more edc items, but don't want to ramble on too long - you made the video, after all!), while I rotate my work watches with regularity (currently back to the old Sinn 104!), You'll always find an SKX007J on my wrist for my weekend adventures and international travel. You can kick the hell out of it and it always performs. Why the J? - I like the little "21 Jewels" on the dial for no reason I can really point to...

Your videos always give me a positive vibe. It's the overall atmosphere, your tone of voice and attitude, the room, the things you look at, etc. I love it. I'm a modest guy who happens to also love alternative brands, so instead of an iPhone I have a Xiaomi, a cheap pen because I always lose my pens, my keys, a small bottle of rubbing alcohol (usually ethyl) which I've had in my EDC for so many years, face masks (what times we live in!), liquid soap (because some WCs don't even have soap), and because I have kids, my bag also has crackers, mosquito repellent, Band Aids, crayons and bond paper for when they're bored, arcade cards, and a few other knickknacks. I'm also a bit of a cellphone guy because these things have become such an important part of people's lives and they're able to do so many things. They may be considered disposable electronics but they have come to define this era we live in, and future generations will probably look at it in a more positive way.

So much that it's normal for you that, when you talk about yours accessories, you insert three knives. THREE KNIVES my dear! You may not have realized it yet but yes we are all in a war. It's the classic yin and yang. Good and evil is always fighting against each other.. including where you live. The difference now is that we are actually at the very end of time where good will ultimately prevail. Revelation 14 is being fulfilled now. Things are going to escalate downward quickly now. The Domino's are falling. Weapons may prolong your life but ultimately only a good relationship with God will save you from the destruction that is coming soon.

@@entertainme7523 sorry for delay, I usually have a cotton ‘chief and add an essential oil. Throughout the day I take it out Amd put it over my nose like I am blowing my nose but I am simply inhaling the oil. I fold the chief in my pocket so I try to reduce evaporation of the essential oil throughout the day. I choose different oils for different reasons. I choose lavender to keep me relaxed throughout the day, I use oregano oil these days as it has antiviral properties. I usually have a paper handkerchief if I actually want to blow my nose. Occasionally I will use my cotton handkerchief for this, but usually keep it for deploying essential oils. Most essential oil advice or experiments I do come from reading books, the essential pharmacy by Valerie Ann wormwood is my favourite. I hope that is helpful. Good luck to you. :-)

sorry i'm late, that case knife with that big "ear" on the back of the blade is really nice and its meant for most to be opened like you did open it but there is another way to open it almost as fast as a switchblade, if you hole it let your arm drop straight down and just run it past your leg and let that "ear" hit your leg and the blade will snap right out or let it hit anywhere really, a car seat someone elses leg anything

This is the first time I've seen your EDC but have been wondering for some time. Always thought of sending you a knife upgrade. Appreciate what you do with your channel content.

Hey TGV, Thanks for the cool new video and I hope you are well. I am curious about what you think about Byzantine art, as I have some traditional Orthdox iconography on your monitor before. All the best - Elijah Hallberg

Great video! Just purchased the Swatch Body and Soul because your review. In fact, I have purchased many watching because of your reviews. What are your thoughts about Armand Nicolet specifically the JS9? Thanks for your effort.
