in Q1, C you have concluded that acceleration is equal to 0, however can we assume this if it asks about why it will be at rest

for question 5 I tried doing it another way but it did not work, could you tell me where I am going wrong. work out time for horizontal to reach 50m (100/square root 2 U). then substituite that T value in V= U + at with v=0 (as at greatest height the vertical velocity=0) U= Usin45. a= -9.8 I don't understand why I get a different value of 31 instead of 28

on question 4, why did you resolve the force 'mg' into : mgcosA and mgsinA, i dont think your supposed to resolve it when theres no particle acting on it no?

For Q4 (a) in mechanics, why couldn’t you let Nsin(α) x 4a = Mgcos(α) x 3a and rearrange for N?

Nsin is not the perpendicular distance to the rail. Remember a moment is perpendicular distance multiplied by distance

why did you need to take moments for N (29:35) but not need to take moments for F, why couldnt you have just set N = the opposite force like you did with the friction
