Trying to get my 1 year old down for his mid morning nap so I can clean. I normally deep clean the whole house on the weekend and do my normal daily cleaning every week day. But last weekend was Easter weekend and my daughter's 10th birthday happened to be on Easter this year. So since it was a holiday and all her friends were busy, I let her have a sleepover this weekend and skipped my deep cleaning, and my house is just a disaster 😂 We have soccer games and dance class this week so I'm hoping to get things back to normal! Just an idea my Grandma taught me. For a microwave put 1/4 cup water and1/4 cup white vinegar in a bowl and microwave for 5-10 minutes. It does get strong so don’t take a huge whiff when you open it. However, you should be able to easily wipe everything out o the microwave. ☺️

I've struggled with using Clorox wipes and dust getting wiped back and forth on the top of the toilet when cleaning it. Thanks for the suggestion to wipe with toilet paper first! It's such a simple step I don't know why I didn't think of it.

I have a 1954 shower. I use lysol power toilet cleaner and a scotch scrubber on a stick. Leave it all night scrubbed it in .got rid of hard water stains. Then to keep up I use a dish scrubber with dawn dishsoap and vinegar.

I have a suggestion for your shower. After you get it that clean, use your favorite car wax on the tiles. It's the same effect as the RainX on the shower door.

I have that exact same black couch that you have in the Kid's playroom! We have it in our rental unit (lower level of our home), thankfully its not started peeling yet. I have two grown children now and just know that your time with your kids will pass quickly. In respect to the playroom, be careful not to make an idol out of super neat and well put together kid spaces, let kids have a space where they can let off steam. Sometimes when friends are over, fun and spontaneity happen, and you don't want your kids to be afraid to upset you and inadvertently squash their spontaneity. You also don't want to be that home that other kids won't want to go to because there are so many rules about not touching things and messing things up. You did right by pausing and having them help with the clean up; so important to have kids also be responsible for any mess they do make. I'm enjoying your videos and have ordered a bunch of products with your link. Your transparency is refreshing! Keep it up, you are doing amazing!

Just a heads up, the e-cloths remove 99% of bacteria but they don't kill the bacteria. So essentially they don't actually disinfect.
