I'm not sure if I'm going to have the clearance. I've been told by two separate places that fitment is good based on the numbers I gave them but maybe you can clarify. I had a '17 with a snowplow prep package on it. I had 35's on it but never did try 37's before it's demise to black ice this winter. I have a '23 now that is scheduled for delivery about mid April, with the same prep package. When I bought my '17 I saw the snowplow prep package next to the standard & there seemed to be at least 2" height difference. 37's looked like they would fit other than my Husky mud flaps seemed to protrude out into the wheel well at a particular point & could have possibly cause a rub point. I have Black Rhino Warlord dark tint rim with -12 offset (same wheel as the '17 only the '17 was the gun metal color) & 37x13.50R17E Geolander X-AT's lined up for the '23. I've been told it will work, no rub, scrub, trim, etc.

Truck looks beautiful. So question. Will a readylift 2.5 kit give the same amount of "lift" as your carli 2.5 kit or is yours actually 3.5? If going with readylift 2.5 what is the offset needed to clear 37's? People are posting 20x10 -24 with 37's as clearing with no trimming but you say that's not possible. I will do a 2.5, want 37's but dont want to cut the whole truck up? And does it matter if dropping down to 35's or does it all have to do with wheel size and offset? Thanks

It'll be tough choosing the gas vs the diesel. The diesel obv has more torque to pull the bigger tires, but...the 6.2 and 7.3 gas, you can option it with the 4.30 limited slip rear end (diesel 3.55) which will help with the bigger tires... Hmmm

Nice truck! Love the upgrades. You did the Back Country level with add-a-pack on my 2011 F250 gasser. Next tire change, thinking of TOYO OPEN COUNTRY A/T III 37/12.5R18. Will these fit using my stock 18" wheels? Trim/no trim?

Sadly they will not fit using the factory wheels since they're too tucked in. You can do it, but there's heavy rub on the radius arms and sway bar when turning. We recommend wheels with 5" to 4.75" backspace for 37s on Fords.

Typically we recommend 0 offset, 4.75 backspace, but since this truck is running the Carli radius arms and sway bar the +18 wheels with 37/12.5 tires clear those parts without rub.

Assuming both trucks are on 37s, roof height is 86” for the 5.5" and 84” for the level height system. The level height kit has a 60.5” bed rail height and the 4.5/5.5 system has a 62.5” bed rail height.

Absolutely not. The factory arms work perfectly fine for 90% of customers! 37s just require some minor trimming of the fender liners and a little of the plastic corner piece on the fender.

Correct. It’s actually the exact same parts, but Ford lowered the trucks 1” up front for 2020. The 3.5 Carli system puts the truck back at the same height as a 2018 on a 2.5” system.

as i understand the Tremor, it takes a significant hit in towing and payload compared to the standard Ford offering depending upon how it is optioned--- so its best to pay close attention to that with reference to the payload and pulling specs as you look at a Tremor on the lot.

This is a nice set-up, couple questions will the Carli sway bar work with a Boss snow plow mount I had to take my sway bar spacers off and mount them in the correct Factory location without the spacers to make it work because the boss bracket surrounds the original sway bar mount, also does Carli make a stiffer set of Springs for the front four guys that use snow plows in the winter?

Beautiful truck. I want to do the exact same thing on my 2018 f250. Thanks to your videos for clarifying a lot on the type of Carli kits. I for sure want the fully optioned out BACKCOUNTRY kit. But I do also tow a 4 horse goose next trailer. Can you guys point me in the right directions on the air bags in the rear? Or make a video of it? Still want to overland in the truck yet on the weekday tow the gooseneck.

It’s tricky trying to keep a truck as a tow vehicle but want it flexible enough for off-roading. The long travel carli air bag system only works on the 4.5” kits. The 4.5” will be best for overlanding because you’ll run 37” tires which gives you better ground clearance than 35s. You’ll also be able to flex better than a 2.5” kit. However with a 4.5” kit and 37” tires towing may become difficult. You in theory can copy what the customer in the video had done but 2.5” long travel leafs will be limited in travel because of airbags. Give PMF suspension a call, they have a long travel air bag kit too which could work on a 2.5” lift, I’m not positive.

Actually running the Carli Add a Pack in the rear would be the perfect option for you. It doesn't ride as soft as the Carli full pack, but it keeps full towing capacity of a factory truck, and still improves the ride significantly from stock. If your truck can tow that trailer in factory form, it will tow it just fine with the Back Country and add a pack! You can also do the same set up as this truck that got a full leaf pack and Firestone bag/Daystar cradle set up. Because the bag isn't fixed with the axle, you actually get full droop travel and full suspension movement even with the bag.

I have a 2019 king ranch and looking into getting the back country 2.5 leveling kit. Should I do 35s or do you think I can fit 37s on stock wheels

With a stock wheel you’re limited to a 295 before you get rubbing on the factory radius arms and sway bar due to the wheel specs. Unfortunately no suspension upgrade can fix that. To fit 37s on a Super Duty, we typically recommend around a 5” backspace number. 0 offset to +12 offset on a 8.5-9.5” wide wheel is ideal.

If you want to go wider you can, but you start to have to either cut more or reduce tire size to maintain drivability. Or you just deal with rub for the stance.

Absolutely! These systems are a same day turn around. Drop the truck off at 9am and leave around 5pm with the new suspension!
