This exhaust has the perfect tone, smooth, and deep like a big inch engine should sound. I think leaving the resonators on was a good choice to keep it from having that raspy tone with the popping. Good job

Our new Amazon step vans have the 7.3 with a 3.5" exhaust. They're actually pretty noisy stock. I'm glad Ford brought back the big block. Has such an old school sound.

FedEx too. I love them, they don’t jolt you back in the seat like the 6.2’s did since they were geared super low, but they still punch and pull up to freeway speed damn near instantly fully loaded. Dead stop uphill? Doesn’t even feel it, it just goes. It’s so nice.

You can get some black paint, some high temp to finish off that pipe ... Or it could be painted at the shop that does exhaust, and not leave it up to the customer to finish.

That's a hell of a lot of restriction on the factory exhaust.

Mufflers and resonators don’t restrict exhaust flow. They muffle and change the frequencies of the exhaust to make it quiet. Cutting all those out would have no effect on performance.

If someone did a flow test, we could actually see how much restriction is on the factory exhaust system and then put it on a Dyno to see what the horsepower and torque numbers are with the factory exhaust compared to removing some of the restriction or a aftermarket exhaust.

The Chevy Silverado with the 6.6 gas has two pipes from the black widow venom exhaust on this channel, this Ford should of made the same setup with the flowmasters.

Removing that front 2 to 1 resonator with the current setup will make that truck completely intolerable to drive. Borla and vibrant sell a flow thru that acts like a resonator if u choose to remove it

Flowmaster outlaw was installed is in place of the factory muffler. Outlaw is louder than a super 10 because it’s basically a “straight pipe”

For a truck you can never have it too loud, my muffler fell off a couple years ago I just left it. It had a flow master on it but after it fell off it sounds even better than before. It's looking like even more pipe is going to fall off soon, as long as it doesn't go past the cat it's good in my book.
