You forgot to mention the automatic windows, if you're coming out of the grocery store and it's 95 degrees outside when you get up to the car before you pop the trunk to load the groceries, - if you push the unlock button once, and then push and "hold down" the unlock a second time, in about 3-4 seconds - the driver and passenger side windows automatically roll down to let all the hot summer air out of the car before getting in and if you have the premium package with the automatic start, you can push that button twice as well and start the car automatically especially if you left the A/C on. Then by the time you open the windows, start the car and pop the trunk......after loading your groceries you step into a nice cool car. Another thing you missed was the second compartment inside the glove box on the passenger side....when you open the glove box, there is a yellow button inside the top of the glove box, if you push that button in, it opens another compartment specifically for storing the Ford Mustang Owners Manual. There's also a rear hatch switch on the inside drivers side to pop the trunk along with a slide out compartment to the left of that button to store change or your sunglasses. I have the premium package on my 2018 ecoboost. It's an awesome car. It has the larger display with Ford Synch 3, so I don't have to have the optional navigation, just synch your android or I-phone to the car and carplay comes up with apps on you car display screen just like your cell phone - maps, music, messages ....etc.... I can talk to the system and it maps out directions through bluetooth technology, and it will fade the i-phone music out while giving directions, or while getting or making a call, or hearing an incoming message, you can even talk to it and send a reply message back while driving, siri works with it as well. The music fades back in after you're done completing any of those other tasks....and it's all done remotely while you drive so rarely ever taking eyes off the road you can even talk to the music app and tell siri what you want to listen to for music. Very awesome car. And yes, those pockets on the door panel are great for storing umbrellas. In the back, under the rear trunk, there is a lift up compartment with a jack and mini spare in case you get a flat. I do get 32 on the highway, 25 in the city, it gets great gas mileage and also when you need power, it goes 0-60 in about 5.9 seconds which is pretty quick. If I had the summer tires, then it's 4.9 seconds 0-60. The car handles great around turns, the car is very very solid and really hugs the road good and with traction control and other road safety features you really don't have to worry too much about losing control of the vehicle. Also the H.O. ecoboost tops out at 155mph where as the. regular ecoboost like mine only tops out at 120mph and it's all because of the drive-shaft. The regular ecoboost has a 2-piece drive-shaft where as the GT and H.O. ecoboost have the more beefed up, more solid 1 piece high performance driveshaft. The regular ecoboost could probably go about 135 -140 ?? if you removed the governor but then you're taking the risk of severely damaging the drive shaft, the rear differential, the transmission and possible the engine not to mention what the drive shaft under the car might do if it breaks, it might come up through the center console or seat and kill you. I've gotten my car up to 120 on a very open, empty, long, straight stretch of highway with no police around. The ecoboost is a very quick car and will gallop to 120 very quick......but then it automatically stops accelerating and just stays there at 120, you can't push it past 120 due to the governor limiting it. But, there are so many options for making this car even quicker.....including.....better drive shaft.....better air-cleaner......a tuning kit.....plus removing the governor,.....and putting on summer tires. However, take it to FORD to do all that stuff for you DON'T want to void your warranty. I've had 4 mustangs, and NEVER any mechanical failures or break downs what-so-ever !!!!!! Ford builds Mustangs very solid, very good. Very reliable.!!!!!

This is an awesome review one of the most thorough in depth videos ive seen. Just picked up my fully loaded 2019 ecoboost and i love it. It's incredible what ford did with this car. It's a hard fun sports car but also not a bad daily driver at all. It's surprisingly comfortable and alot of good convenience in it. Theres nothing in the car that i wish i had or didnt have, it's like perfectly balanced with everything i could want in a car

I think it's important to put this Mustang up against like competition in the 4 cylinder turbo segment rather than compare it to the GT. This Mustang will handily beat a Civic Type-R 0-60 for example even though the Mustang is 550 lbs. heavier. Thanks for the detailed walk through on the 12 inch LCD display!
@stephenhendricks1034 жыл бұрын
I'm a fan of the 2.3L Ecoboost Mustang. For those who don't live in "flyover" country and other places where turns and curves are only occasional and mountains are non-existent, the smaller displacement 4 banger with its turbocharged power delivery, lighter weight, and better weight distribution makes a great deal of sense.(The curb weight of the Ecoboost is almost 200 lbs lighter than the GT, with all that weight in the front end. It's like having an NFL corner back sitting on the hood.) I'm skeptical about the durability of the 2.3L Ecoboost engine in a loaded 5000 lb Explorer but in a 3500 lb Mustang it's a different ballgame. In fact, for those attracted to the design/engineering philosophy of European vehicles, the high performance ecoboost Mustang demonstrates that Ford can build a worthwhile competitor at a bargain price. My favorite mountain roads include a 50-100 mile loop in the Cascades around Mt Rainier in Washington. And while the Ecoboost High Performance won't keep up with the Mustang GT in a straight line to 60 mph or on a flat quarter mile, a skilled driver in the 2.3L Mustang can be drinking a second latte while waiting for a Mustang GT to finish that loop. And on a tight, technical track, I'd expect it to keep up with the heavier Mustang GT. With an up to a $9000 difference in price between a fully loaded high performance Ecoboost Mustang and a comparably equipped GT Premium fastback, I'd take the High Performance Ecoboost and laugh all the way to the bank.

The one I looked at had active exhaust. Having driven a 2021 version. The 330 horsepower with 3:55 gears was a great handling Mustang due to the lighter engine out front. It's fast and turns 0-60 times very close to the GT. The one I tested was not a premium. Had a 6 speed manual with standard seats. I'm confused why you purchased a Mustang with Recaro seats if they felt uncomfortable during your test drive. They are basically racing seats made to keep you tightly in place when tracking the car. Buying a premium version you can get the power and heated/Cooled seats option. Ford realizes only a few people will ever set in the back seats so a tilt forward seat would be a waste of money. I would never purchase another Mustang if I'm using it for a passenger hauler or worry about the trunks size. Use the inside truck button or fob for opening your trunk. A big seller was the low price just over $32,000. A lot of car for the money. I'm shopping Mustangs and the HPP is a strong candidate.

@DWH3003 жыл бұрын
I am 6.2 and fit extremely well in the Mustangs front seats including head room. If your shorter. You can move the seat closer so it will work well for the pedals and steering wheel. I've set in a Camaro and it was tight with loads of blind spots. The Camaros side windows are very short creating issues when going through a fast food drive through.

I'm wondering what makes the headlights "mediocre" I've never had any problem seeing anything at night honestly. I've also never noticed that the mirrors aren't body colored, in the case of my particular car the spoiler and mirrors ARE body due to the fact that I purchased the 2020 High Performance Package in Magnetic Metallic. The criticism regarding "there's no carpet on the ceiling of the trunk", is a bit nit picky honestly. The dash slide-out compartment is for your sunglasses, door pockets ARE for umbrellas. RECARO buckets are MEANT to hold you in place. I ordered the heated & cooled seats for comfort. And as far as the rear seats, this is NOT a 'family' car, it's a sports car. If you want a 'utility' type vehicle to carry people and cargo, you'd get a sedan or SUV, do you compare sporty features on utilitarian vehicles? I'd think that would be a no, common sense would tell us that they don't really apply, unless of course it's a sport sedan or SUV.

@mustang2O2O4 жыл бұрын
I consider your statement valid entirely. Though I spent considerably more on this car than a base GT, but still 10k less than a PP2. I wouldn't buy a v8 without that package. It is wild compared to a regular GT. It doesn't even feel like the same car in terms of handling and body control. Most mustang buyers are after raw power instead of driving dynamics, so I understand the belief behind your statement!
