Change out the intercooler up front. The one from the factory is ok but the aftermarket will fix some of the heat problems......another great video though.

Not a fan of the 2.3. Ford should have put tge 2.7 or 3.5
@ferp4204 жыл бұрын
ya there 2.3 always had bottom end issues the rod bearings always seem to go out with any kind of load throw 22psi of boost at it ya seems like a great idea

But, wouldn't you rather have a V8? I drove an ecoboost mustang 50th anniversary back in 2016 and the transmission felt so loose and sloppy. The converter was hardly ever locked up. It was kind of numb to drive and the engine and trans felt loose. However, the mustang GT of the same year was super nice. Great engine response. Converter locked up even at low speed to give it that instantaneous feel and engine feel through the pedals. All that stuff is important for the enjoyment. I wonder how this new one is in comparison.

DOHC naturally aspirated motors aren’t generally known for low end torque but breath better on the top end where the V8 mustangs shine

Thats my biggest gripe is the heat soak with the garbage intercoolers ford slaps these things with from the factory. They just can't keep up whatsoever

I agree. The stock intercooler in my Focus ST is barely good enough for like one WOT pull and then the air charge temps skyrocket.
@mantisushi4 жыл бұрын
That because Ford doesn't see then as performance cars. They make them because there is a market for itand they make money off it but not because they like them as performance cars, it's sad. I hate them tbh but I know a lot that like them and Ford should cater to them a little more it's not fair
