Finally picked up my new Mustang GT this week after a 3 month wait. Your video is excellent and very informative. You have made it so easy for me. Not suprised Australia is a huge market. We are getting a lot of car for a fair price. Traded my 3 year old C250 mercedes, the Mustang is a far better car in every way :)

That was a excellent video. I’m from Australia’s. I’ve learnt more about my car in 45mins watching you. The sales person at the dealership probably didn’t have the knowledge to give a proper introduction to the car. After owning a 2018 GT for 2 years I’ve just ordered a new one to be delivered in March 2021. Thanks for going to the effort to make such a clear and informative video. This video should be brought to the attention of all new Mustang buyers to help navigate the features of the car. Thanks again. ......jim 👍👍👍
@CarsWithSteve4 жыл бұрын
Wow, thanks so much Jim! Glad you were able to learn so much about the car. Great call on the factory order for a new 2021! What build did you end up going with?
@Jim-ok9zi4 жыл бұрын
@@CarsWithSteve Hi steve Australia is the second largest market for Mustang’s outside of the USA. The Mustang’s that are imported into Australia are optioned up as standard some things that would be a extra in Canada or the US are built into the car brought to Australia. When I ordered my current car ( 2018 mustang GT ) I chose the 10 speed auto. This time I’ve chosen the manual. As much as the auto is a great gear box I’ve gone with the manual because I think you feel more engaged with the car. So the car that I’ve ordered has the same specs as my current car excluding the auto. So the car has. Magneride suspension Forged alloy wheels Rear spoiler Velocity blue Stay safe Steve ......jim 👍
@CarsWithSteve4 жыл бұрын
@@Jim-ok9zi Didn't know Australia was just behind the US for Mustang demand. Had someone let me know a few months back that England is pretty high up there for demand on Mustangs as well. I found the auto transmission is great for launch control but there's no beating the feel of a manual transmission in these things. Such a great choice on the options. The Magneride system is incredible! Enjoy the new car when you get it Jim!

Cars with Steve , I notice your demonstration for the telescoping steering wheel. It does indeed have a generous range of motion. All this time I’ve left my position at the factory setting. I almost forgot it can be adjusted until I saw your video. You also shared a couple other useful features that I will give a try.
@CarsWithSteve4 жыл бұрын
@@xrmerkur Most people forget about the steering wheel on Mustangs because it's on the right knee rather than the left knee where it is on most North American Ford vehicles! Just had someone ask about a more in depth look at PP1 so that'll be a future video I'll add to the list

Hi steve If I add supercharger to my mustang it will affect its warranty or not
@CarsWithSteve3 жыл бұрын
Depends on where you get it installed. There are some performance Ford dealers that can install a supercharger or turbocharger and some even do ECU tunes. Typically if the parts are available through a Ford dealer and they'll install it the warranty won't be affected. Check with SVT (powersport) dealers in your area

From 4:07 - 4:50, the driver side floor is disgustingly dirty. If you're gonna show a car that you hope to sell, then you need to make sure it's as clean as possible!!!
@CarsWithSteve4 жыл бұрын
If you look a bit closer there's a piece of plastic that's covering the floor. It had rained earlier in the day, so that was done to protect the factory carpet. This car did sell and the buyer was happy when he showed up and the car was fully detailed.

Keeping up with changes in tech and a shifting consumer market place.. But there are options for a lesser equipped Mustang. Check out the 300a which has none of the same "fluff" as the higher trim packages. You could take the few thousand you'd save and do a stage1 ECU tune for those 50 extra ponies or put it towards a supercharger upgrade for a few hundred more
