I was hoping to see more interesting upgrades for the 2020 model year, in the same way that they added rev matching for the manual transmissions in 2019. The fact that there are only minor cosmetic changes makes me think we are in for some real surprises in 2021!

Great review as always Gold Pony! I have a 2018 Mustang GT.... PP1, 301A package, with the 6-Speed Manual.... felt like it was the best bang for your buck for performance. I bought the car slightly used and got a great deal on it. Still going strong as of now. Always love your content and especially the Mustang content!

My 2019 is the EXACT MAGNETIC METALLIC PAINT/look as this GT. I PAINTED my brake calipers YELLOW (for more visibility/safety reasons) They look Great, also tinted my rear 1/4 windows and my REAR window. I REMOVED the stupid plastic engine (HEAT) cover that was just keeping the engine hot. I MADE THE RAM AIR FUNCTIONAL by cutting out the rubber on the side of the air INTAKE (just inside the grille) that had no air intake. I use DURALUBE in the engine oil. PULLED about 1L OUTTA THE DIPSTICK as not to void the warranty. It makes the engine scream/makes more power and protects the engine. I use octane boost and fuel injector cleaner at every gas stop to get more power and keep my engine clean. She likes the additives, runs better, burns less gas has More POWER. Once off warranty gona REMOVE the BIG heavy MUFFLER RESENATOR and straight pipe it, maybe straight pipe the mufflers also? Gona tint drivers/passengers windows to keep the suns rays out comin summer.

This S550 Mustang IS AWESOME with the (FINALLY) Independent REAR Suspension. BUY IT YOU WON'T BE SORRY. I have the MORE nimble handling TURBOCHARGED INTERCOOLED 2.3L ECO Boost (320hp 350FTlbs) Engine and prefer it over the heavier 5.0L. No I don't NEED TO BURN MORE GAS, BURN MORE RUBBER, BURN MORE INSURANCE MONEY.

So I bought my 2011 Mustang GT used in December of 2013 with 20k miles. I traded it in on a new Vette in January of 2020 with 37,000 miles on it. I didn’t drive it as much as I hoped to since I was very busy at work and driving my company pickup non stop. In the 6 years I owned it I changed the oil, air filter, wiper blades & tires. Nothing else! Never was in the shop in 6 years. Mustangs are rock solid cars!

Only 26 miles on the car before you go wide open throttle. Engine is not even broken in yet. I feel bad for the guy who buys this car. I special ordered my 18' GT convertible specifically for this reason. I don't want some youtuber or salesman beating on it before I took delivery. And yes, I was there when they pulled it off the trailer when it arrived at the dealer. And yes I drove it like an old lady for the first 1,000 miles. And no, mine does not have the dreaded engine 'tick'.

@@CarlosFlores-xf2sn I tried both the analog and digital and I actually prefer the analog. Easier to read for me and to me the digital seemed laggy. The digital looks great compared to the analog when you arent centered behind it, but in the drivers seat the digital and analog are the same size and for me the analog was faster and easier to read. Maybe because I was used to that type of dash. In the car that had the digital dash the entertainment screen also seemed much laggier than the analog car, like the car with the digital dash was using too much computing power and it slowed down the entertainment screen.. That was just my impressions from a test drive, and I own the analog. Only things I wish I got were magneride and active exhaust. Active exhaust is solved with cutouts, but magneride, thats not really possible to get aftermarket. I believe it is possible to add a digital dash aftermarket with forscan I think, there are some threads on it on mustang6g.

IF you are just into gimmicks and not into REAL HI Performance driving then its only perfect with DIGITAL for YOU. Just traded in my 2016 EcoBoost for the 2020 gt. I love the difference in the sound, the speed. They did replace the shaker system in the 2020, but I thought they should have left the shaker system. But I love my new GT, Kona Blue💙

I traded a 2017 Mustang V-6 for a new leftover 2020 Mustang GT in Kona blue with black accent package. Man, the power! I just learned that to use the linelock feature in the track apps, you have to turn off the traction control. Best mod, in my opinion, is a set of MRT hood struts. The hood on this is heavy and a pain to use with the prop rod.

I have a 19 PP2 also. Installed Cooper all seasons in the same size as the stock tires. I feel much more comfortable and secure on the daily. How are you liking yours with your new tires?

My 2019 Stang came with GoodYear EAGLE Asymmetrical ALLSEASON Tires. I love the grip/ride as they stick good and handle well at 100mph+. I will be buying the same tire to replace them as they don't wear out very fast and are perfect for my Stang. I've rotated them twice now and they still have a lot of rotations left in em. But I do drive with Traction Control ON as I need that rubber for Hi Speed driving, Peeling Out/ Burning Rubber is just stupid reckless heat bag driving.

It’s 9.3 mpg because he was sitting in place for a long period with the car on showing the interior. Also revving the car to show exhaust. It doesn’t take long to to drop mpg when you sit still for 15-20 mins.

@@CaptainTexas92 thats true, i have an ecoboost mustang and you csn see the mpg go down when stopped in traffic or idling, i get about 35mpg to work and back about 20 miles mixed driving but in town maybe 20 lol, long runs just going 60 or 70 mph can get early 40s mpg if you drive trying to be eco lol but if you drive it with spirit and horse on maybe 25 mpg 😅haha, i don't care how much mpg its the experience of having one and gt is on the cards in 2 years 👍👍😁😁

Camarrow has a smaller cramped front seating area, windows are smaller so has a darker interior. The dash is no where as cool as the stang. camarrow is a pony car COPY after all and will NEVER be a better pony car than the Stang.

I have always had the stereotypical mindset about mustang from all the mustang fail videos online... coming from an STI thinking the stang had bad handling and is a crappy car in general... test drove one today and I couldn't be more wrong about the car... even without the performance brembo the stopping power is awsome, the way it felt on the road was very good, the way the engine sound and respond when pressing the pedal, on paper the gas consumption is also only a little higher then the STI... and when I saw the cost and discount the ford dealership in my area had.... yup put down a deposit and now gonna return my STI to stock for trade in ... hello blue Mustang here I come

This review is quite helpful, but the host speaks too fast. I have a 2020 Fusion SE which is quite nice and rather swift especially in the sport mode. It has every option. I'm seriously considering getting a 20 or 21 Mustang GT, but choosing a trim package and year is difficult. Our kids are grown now, so Daddy gets his dream car. Well sorta...my dream car is still a 500 series Mercedes. I am glad the sequential lighting is still available, as that is the coolest thing Ford ever did on any model.

For drag racing purposes would you say the PP1 is necessary or would the base package with 3.55 gears be okay? I know the PP1 is heavier and most features of it are for handling at the track but I don’t plan to track it. So wondering if the base package with the 3.55 gears is good enough for drag racing.

I think I have a mixed gt got it used, has the black accent and 18 inch pirelli tires but has a unique premium package spoiler and a roush air intake, I think I got a bargain for the extra horsepower I'm getting....it's a 2021
