I hate ford and test drove one of these and ended up buying one I’m actually happy with it. My opinion changed it actually tows pretty well and the payload a really good for a midsize pick up. When it comes to trucks I don’t really care about gas mileage but I took a weekend trip and was averaging around 26 on the highway. Can run 87 to premium fuel in it. It’s not fast but it gets up to speed quick. It’s quick for what it is and I’m satisfied with the 2.3L turbo I-4. I have the XLT 4x4 with the sport package. Has skid plates as well on it. I do like the tacomas and there’s a reason why they are the number 1 seller. Resale, quality and reliability!

First time I heard anyone review the ranger and mention auto stop start. Unless they’re complaining.

I NOTICES (some) DIFFERENCES IN RANGERS FROM THE HOOD TO THE INTERIOR. In the HOOD some have A PROP ROD, (I have a 2022 ranger FX4 LARIAT) and, OTHERS HAVE HYDRAULIC STRUTS. In the INTERIOR the HEADREST in the REAR some have a BUTTON that DROPS THE HEADREST but, OTHERS DONT. Ithink the LARIAT SHOULD HAVE BOTH.

Getting ine soon 28,000km on it and for 25k. Not bad can finally get a toolbox with a lock on it for my tool and put my own ladder in the back so I can go to more jobs.

These r seriously cool, thinking this instead of the Bronco.. I think the Bronco is going to be marked up and I am betting it will have issues first 2 years. I am sure the windows alone r going to be annoying, they decided to go with a borderless window in a offroader?!?!

Is there any data for how many km's you get per tank ? I've been researching this truck for weeks now and have my heart set on the 2021..
@MotorPressReviews3 жыл бұрын
We mentioned fuel economy in l/100kms, if you know the tank capacity, you can do the math.
@photocdn3 жыл бұрын
From my research, it's 11.8/city, 9.8 Highway and 10.9 combined, all L/100km. I'm researching it also and comparing with the Tacoma

@@MotorPressReviews I was simply asking what you get say 550 ? or 600 ? km's per tank on this tuck. Right now gas is $1.65 per L so just looking at options and what I would get and would cost to fill up & distance achieved per tank.
@MotorPressReviews3 жыл бұрын
I would say 500-550kms based on driving style and load.

I also changed out the FX4 shocks for Fox 2.0's

@@KenDavis-uo8kq HUGE difference for me. The FX4's made the truck feel like your in a boat and honestly were making me nauseous (and I grew up around boats and flew in the Navy so that's weird) I got the Ford Performance Fox 2.0 since they are tuned for the Ranger and don't mess with the warranty.
