Great review. Need more reviews ike this on cars that may not generate so many views on KZbin. I prefer this over today's minivans which are so pedestrian and so full of tech, gadgets, and gimmicks like giant screens with menus to control mundane functions, powered doors and lift gates, and vacuums.

Is it a family hauler and is it as safe as the odyssey or Pacifica?

The Odyssey and Pacifica are larger, more expensive and have V6 engines. You're trying to compare apples to oranges.

In Europe it sucks, they sell us this van so heavy, with 1.0 petrol engines 3 cylinders 100 hp, or diesel 1.5 Tdci 120 hp, they have no power. Many people would buy it with a bigger engine but there isn't, I would if I could buy some of the ones sold in america, but importing is unworkable. With the automatic 2.0 163hp I would settle but I have seen an even larger engine version. With me Ford has lost a sale, I already had a TOURNEO COURIER that I sold due to lack of power recently. Why can’t you have native navigation and Apple Car Play at the same time? I’m going to bet it’s in the terms of use for Apple Car Play, odds are Apple requires this.

I know people with 200k 300k miles on focus and fusion they are reliable 2.0 and 2.5 NAs

Nice, but pricey for what it is. The now extinct Kia Rondo was far better value and offered similar function.
