Arubiana we are completely satisfied with our 2019 GMC Terrain Denali. Ours is Satin Steel Metallic like the one in the video, with black leather interior 2.0 L turbo, and All The bells and whistles.

Plus the new Terrain hinges off it's sister the Chevy Equinox which has one of the largest cargo hauling of 81 cu ft with front passenger seat folded and the Chevy's excellent reliability since being redesigned.

I believe that the Denali chrome trim and grille is much classier. I also love the adaptive cruise control, upgraded tires and wheels, to wind package, and 2.0 liter Turbo engine upgrade included on the Denali

Just test drove a Denali. The cooling system in the seats made for a dismally uncomfortable seat due to the added stiffness. I’d give anything for the steering wheel to extend closer to the driving position and the seats to have a longer throw for thigh support. They’re like children’s seats at an elementary school. No adult’s thighs are that short. After test driving three different Terrains, also discovered that Michelins are MUCH quieter than the Hankooks.

Very attractive vehicle. Has more power with turbo than Hyundai Santa Fe. Hyundai Santa Fe reduced their Hp with turbo engine. I don’t know why though. Like the fact safety features are all standard. With my Hyundai Santa Fe (2018 model) the safety features are extra. Competition forces auto manufactures to compete with another thereby the consumer will benefit.

INSTALL THE UPDATE Before the update, my car wouldn't glide when I took my foot off the accelerator. That was driving me crazy. Now it does. This will increase fuel economy. Not like I was buying the car for fuel economy.

What about the front passenger seat folding forward to accommodate long items ( 96" lumber pieces e.g.) when rear seat folded down. Would make this the most ideal SUV??

@Jose Hernandez Exactly. I like the Terrain's design, but the small engine concerns me. I'll probably opt for a V6 Acadia.

@Jose Hernandez The 2.0L Terrain is on my shortlist. I agree with you that Acadia is a better vehicle overall. I particularly like look of the 2020 refresh. When it comes time to buy its really going to come down to my finding a slightly used 2020 Acadia for around the price of a new Terrain.

arubiana, we traded our 2014 Chevy Traverse with the 285 hp 3.6 L 6 cyl engine. Our 2019 Terrain Denali has the 252 hp. 2.0 L turbo 4. I was skeptical about a 4 banger too - until I drove the turbo version engine, and was impressed. This car can smoke the tires and the 9 speed tranny is smooth and quick. On the Terrain, (considering weight and handling) this setup is just as energetic as the V-6 or small block V-8. I wouldn’t buy the 1.5 turbo they offer in lower trim lines due to its weaker 170 hp engine. 82 hp is a huge difference.

The auto stop/start does save fuel on all vehicles, its already been proven, look it up. Idling a vehicle anymore then seven seconds is wasting fuel.

@@jdubdoubleu I've never owned a vehicle with this feature but seems to me on the hottest days of the year when you want your air conditioning running and you pull up to a long stoplight...things will get uncomfortable fast! Also turbo charged engines need to keep oil moving through that turbocharger, especially if you are towing or driving hard. Having your engine just shut off can't do it any good. I would rather spend the money on fuel than living with discomfort and potentially expensive engine repairs in the future. Just my opinion.

So pissed this vehicle doesn't have the autostop disable feature. Didn't GM learn their lesson on the blazer. I will not buy this car over this. #SoDumb

I saw on another review that if you select the L and bump up to 9 the stop/start feature is disabled and the setting is exactly the same as selecting Drive! It's too bad though that you have to pay for features like this and never use them!

FR8ZILLA PRODUCTIONS this was one of the features I wanted. When stopped in traffic, the motor stops if certain condition exist. Taking your foot off the brake, the engine is running before you can touch the accelerator. It does save gas and the accessories are still active. If you want the engine to stay stopped you can fool it by simply turning up your AC or heat as you are coming to a stop. The engine will then keep running on our car. You can also softly lift you pressure on the brake until the engine restarts. We have the 2.0 L turbo and recently got 30 mpg on a road trip, and average 26-27. Used to average 18-19 on our Traverse 3.6 L. Big difference.

@@FR8Productions I barely notice it in Arizona when it is on and sometimes it doesn’t even come on. I have a 2022 so maybe they made it better??
