@@siknin1 Yeah, I call bullshit on 9.1. On another thread you said you ran a 9.1 and it would run a 14.1 on the 1/4. Funny how that quarter time is exactly what it advertises at. Those numbers don’t add up. So what was your mph? 60 ft? I watch G35s run high 9s low 10s all night long at Brainerd drag strip.

My stock 2004 G35 6mt ran a 9.1 1/8 a 14.1 1/4 with 150,000 miles on the original engine. People forget the actual numbers these car ran when they were released for 2003.

Don't be, I have g35 sedan 6 speed, love it, but that 2.0t Accord 6spd is also an amazing ride, and top it off, our cars keep up with 15 year newer :) :) you put in just one turbo and omg we kill a 2.0t accord

Your G35 will be faster after a tune. I assume you are not tuned yet. By the mph. I have a 2004 G35 6mt. When I added bolt ons with no tune my car got sluggish. For comparison stock I went 9.1 1/8 and 14.1 1/4 stock. After I get a tune I will go back and try to improve. Keep at it the car looks clean 👍🏿

Funny that you mention that because when I first saw the 10th gen design, and that there was no more v6, I hated it. I really think it looks awesome now and will age really well. It's just not quick, its super roomy, it feels solid. I can't imagine what honda has for the 11th gen

I just gapped a sport coupe accord on the freeway with my bolt on DE make sure you get ported manifolds , plenum spacer and 75mm throttle body your top end will be great

for real at the time the Gs tech was way beyond anything any other manufacturer had, it beat 330cis by over half a second and was almost 10k cheaper the g was ahead of its time

I got a full custom cold air that I made myself, a custom active exhaust system with an upgraded cooling system and oil cooler. Also I changed over to an LSD with shorter gears in the FD ratio. Then just some basic weight reduction :)

We've been racing each other for a while now. It was a hot day and the honda was really affected by it, about 0.3 sec and 2 mph slower than usual.

Overall that's about as even as you can get. But the Infinity.... 9.44 9.44 9.45 AND he's cutting some good lights. That's a bracket racing money making combination right there. You're pretty consistent too, but damn that Infinity has to be a tough out during bracket races.

@@SweatyMushroomz Its not about fast, it's about being consistent. And great reaction times. You actually don't want to be so fast and powerful that you lose consistency. You seem to have the Infinity dialed in nicely. And I know that SSD is really good on the lights and you were right there with him, so you're doing pretty well yourself. With that combination, you'd be tough to beat. Waaaaaay back in the 80s/90s I knew a guy who ran a late 70s Oldsmobile Cutlass with a regular old stock emissions smothered 350 that he'd throw in Drive, stomp on the gas and without fail, run 17.1x every single run no matter what. He got good on the lights and he'd go deep in eliminations every single week and would make an extra few hundred bucks every month doing it.

I've owned both car. My g35 is a 2005 6sp cold air and stage 2 exedy clutch and my accord is a stock 2019 10speed , 2.0 turbo touring edition and i must say My accord is faster . I ran my g35 qaurter mile best time was 14.3 and i believe my accord stock is faster and feels faster than my g35.
