There’s definitely some Q50s out there who will give the modded BMWs some competition. I have a 19’ non RS with Pure Stage 2’s, HE, DP’s, and a fuel pump upgrade and it makes almost 600awhp. That’s on a blend of about E30 because I can’t run much more than that right now. (Fuel system limited) But she leaves REALLY hard and pulls good on the highway too. My 60-130 is like ~5.4. To give you an idea the stock 60-130 was like 14.x seconds. There’s still a lot of room to grow too because I’m still on stock intakes, stock CBE, stock wheels. If I get more fuel system the turbos have more in them still; lots more potential and I’ve really been loving the car more and more every step of the way.

3.0T Deff has a lot more potential. I would have to be near max effort to compete but at least we’re faster than the 3.7s lol. I’ve considered a red sport

@@TheHybridQ50S To be completely honest I didn’t even know there was a hybrid model until the first video of yours I ran into. I’m traditionally a Honda guy, specifically Accords and way back when Integras. But for the last decade I’ve gotten a new Accord every 3 years or so and always the V6, then when the 10th gen came out I got a 2.0T Sport. They discontinued any sort of performance oriented Accord with the 11th gen though so I decided to take my 2020 2.0T back to basically stock and keep that as a daily for as long as possible and then I picked up this 1 owner Q50 to do a build with. The Accord was really impressive too with a flex fuel kit, DP and tune. The 10 speed auto really held boost in between shifts, but it’s still not on the level as the Infiniti as far as raw torque production and then the AWD launches just put a cherry on top lol. Definitely happy with my purchase.

I respect the RS400 but I think the VR has some design limitations the B58 just doesn’t. (V6

Sometimes I wanna join b58 gang and other times I’m like I’m good, this car has been very reliable and is quick for what it is. Not b58 quick but it gets going enough lol

@@TheHybridQ50S If you already have a Q50S I can’t imagine switching to a car that’s I direct competitor of the same era. I love my car but I don’t think you’d see it as a noticeable upgrade over what you already have! I think the Q has some excellent points in its favor. I think the F30 is beautiful, but the Q is also a very aesthetically on point vehicle. The exhaust note is outstanding. The BMW will probably lose value faster! I think stock for stock what you have is just as fast as an f30 anyway! It’d only under heavy mods that the b58 gains ground (and I think a VR can be made as fast as most b58 anyway, it’s more that the b58 is cheaper to mod up through that 500hp level).

How are you finding this car longterm ? Im importing one from japan soon 350gt Hybrid type SP around the 60/70k miles mark and want something i can daily with a decent amount of power for afew years. My main concern are the longevity of the hybrid battery and they gearbox (valve bodies) but im 90% convinced

I never hear about anyone’s hybrid battery going out. Transmission on this car is probably the only weak point of this car if not taken care of
