@@GunDaDost Nice! I just found out that my DCT was delayed until August. I have one reserved at my dealer though, so I'm first in line when it finally shows up.

@@GunDaDost that would certainly be a change. The NC has never been in demand in the US.

Puig tall screen is available for 2020 and earlier, probably not for '21 model yet. People find the seats hard on long rides. Shad seat is usual fix and tilting the front up, but again may not be around for '21 model yet. Bike is really efficient on fuel. DCT is a breeze to ride.

As a owner of 2019 model, I would spot a few issues of the NC. This bike was designed for being a commuter and nothing more than a commuter and it's far of being a tourer. The wind protection is not good enough for long rides at highway speed, The seat doesn't offer enough comfort and it makes you slipi forward during long travels. But I solved this problems spending around 350 USD. But the main problem is the fuel tank's positition which doesn't allow you to carry a bag on the passanger seat. I don't like those side or top cases prefering to carry my lugage on a flexible bag tied on the passanger seat. Riding on the NC I must untied that bag every time when I have to refuel.

Thanks for the comment. I totally agree with the seat issue you mentioned and I really hope that the new model has resolved that. I would like to take some small trips on this bike and was considering the top case. I don't really like the look of it though, so would be taking it off when not in use. Great points to consider.

Weird I have that exact model and I never have problems with neutral. You can also take that on decently aggressive dirt roads.
@KSSTUDIOS3 жыл бұрын
I think this particular bike just needed some adjustments to the clutch. There was more to it than just the typical "difficult to find neutral". 🤔

Had the nc700x and it was good for commuting , but not good for distance, touring, seat comfort issues and even with larger screen windows buffeting not good. I am 181cm tall and 90kg. It was not a good fit for me and I exchanged it.

Thanks for the comment! I'll definitely make sure to test the 2021 version on the highway before buying one. I do plan to do some small trips (300-400 miles) in the near future. No cross-country stuff though.

I have no complaints with my current bike for commuting on, a middleweight naked bike, but this bike has gotta be King of all commuters I feel. Get the DCT, has a frunk so external bags aren’t really necessary, and I imagine it sips regular fuel?

Hello KSSTDIOS I've already tried the 2021 model. Liked it a lot, although i'm a new rider (coming from he 125cc scooter world), so I may have overlooked stuff that may important for an experienced rider 3 figures you should have in mind, regarding the 2021 model vs the 2020 one: 3 4 6 - the seat in the 2021 model is 3 cm lower: hand for me since I'm 1,70 com tall - The engine is now 4 hp more powerful than before - The bike weights now 6 kg less than the 2020 year model Besides, she now features throttle by wire, which enables for 4 riding modes (rain, standard, sport and user configurable). These act upon 3 parameters: throttle response, traction control and engine break. ...Oh, and the storage compartment (where usually the fuel tank is located) , has now 1 more litre of space. Enough for my full face helmet to fit in, contrary to the 2020 model Hope yo like it

@ 6'3", I want to see better suspension with 7+ inches of travel, more ground clearance, fuel tank for a range of 300 miles, 19in front wheel, dual brake discs, and green color. Oh, and I think crash+skid protection should be standard.
@AarPlays2 жыл бұрын
I get you, but the thing is it's not an ADV bike, it's a commuter bike. With the lower seat on the new models I would like another inch of ground clearance too, but keep in mind every inch you go up offsets the low COG. A bigger tank with a gas cap on the side of the seat instead of under would be great AND it wouldn't affect the bike too much. Crash and skid is going to bump up the price too much to be worth it since, you know, commuter first. It's a great project ADV bike, that low COG is amazing and it has a lot of potential
@chadkline42682 жыл бұрын
@@AarPlays yes, I don't disagree with you, but as I see it, Honda already has plenty of commuter type bikes, and then it has the AT, a monster. Instead of a TransAlp, I think it is wiser to make the NC750X the new TransAlp. The X should mean cross-terrain, not commuter.
@chadkline42682 жыл бұрын
@@AarPlays oh yeah, and they need to position the fuel cap like BMW, instead of forcing people to remove luggage everytime they fill up.
@chadkline42682 жыл бұрын
@@AarPlays I like an all-around good midsize bike. I don't like limitations on where I go or what I do, within reason. That means I have the BMW F-series, the V-Strom, the KLR, the Versys, and the NC750X to look at. And BMW is nice, but too expensive. V-Strom might be good, but I don't like V engines. KLR is good, but it's limiting on freeways. Versys is good on freeways, but it's comparable to the NC 750X. It's fairly deficient off-road. I am saying the BMW F-series needs some cheaper competitors. And the NC750X design would be the bike for the job. So would the Versys, but Kawi isn't going to infringe too much on KLR territory.
@AarPlays2 жыл бұрын
@@chadkline4268 completely agree with those bike assessments, and actually why I landed on this one. The problem I have with the Strom is it's poor low speed performance due to the big top heavy gas tanks. They 100% could use the 750x as a base for a new model, as long as they leave this one for those who don't have the extra couple grand for the ADV version.

I appreciate and love the videos. I am actually looking at an electric motorbike but I am on the fence. I own a lot of electric toys. Vsett 10+ ( electric scooter) top speed 45 mph. Have 4 electric bikes and I have owned hybrid vehicles. I have been bit by the electric bug. I do think my next bike will be electric though. Keep up the videos they are very helpful. I've been looking at the ultraviolet. An electric motorcycle from India has great specs and I think the release is going to be $5,. 000. That should be coming out later this year
