How heavy is this bar? I’m not looking to add a ton of weight to my bike like the bung king does.

Man, I was really wanting this seat until I saw the gap between the tank. Why!? Does anyone like that!? I've never met someone who does. I really like that it retains that style of the stock Iron seat but can't get over the gap. I have a Le Pera 2 up seat that fits great, looks great but I want a nice solo seat. I really like the fit of the stock Iron seat but it doesn't have enough support for nore than an hour or two. Le Pera makes great looking quality seats but they are too firm feom my experience even after breaking in. Wish they would soften them up just a little and add a touch more cushion.

Just rode mine to San Diego for a week and back. Not too bad. Stopped every hour or so and top of the tank and stretch a bit. I enjoy riding it for sure. Nicer seat would be preferred though.

Great explanation, thank you. Does anyone know if the socket is still in the same location? Mine is a 2024 model and I have only taken the first black panel off in the centre, in front of the frunk ( as others have suggested that it is possible to manage with only this removed) and I cant see anything similar down there.

I went from triple Tiger 800 to the NC DCT, I hated the high rev engine on the Tiger and the NC DCT is a bliss. I can’t go back to manual. Also, I maintain my bikes and the NC is the easiest bike then any bike I have owned. In 65 and commute daily so maybe did 1/2 a million miles total on my bikes. You did 1,200 miles in 10 month so the Triumph might be just file for you. The NC is good for those who put many miles yearly since it very easy and cheap to maintain and very easy on the gas. Oil change every 8k miles and filters every 16k, crazy! With the frank in the front you actually have 22ltr. Built in without any other painters (although I have all 3 with tank bag as well, I need all the storage I can get as commuter). Anyway, it what make you tick so enjoy your new ride

As a extra precaution: don't try to remove the side-panels when it is below 15 degrees celsius, as the risk for breaking tabs goes up quickly below that. Nice video man!

Pretty good! It seems low noise reduction works best. What do you think? EDIT: yeah, I got to the point in the video where you say you didn't like the high noise reduction, and prefer the low instead

@AdventuresonZero17 күн бұрын
I recently switched to the mini mic as well (got it at launch!), and it’s a great system, especially with the osmo action 4/5. The magnetic mount makes it a breeze to switch between helmets

What a palaver! I will want to properly wire in my GPS soon, but so many panels just to route some cables to the battery and access the switched connector. Great explanation for when the time comes, and also a helpful warning to use some kind of fuse/distribution box under that top panel to allow future flexibility without needing to go through it all again!

I’m looking at both the Honda NC750X & Triumph Tiger 660. Of those two, which one did you enjoy the most? I believe we’re roughly about the same age & similar demeanor. Thank you!

Looking back at those two bikes, I'd have to say I preferred the Honda. The fit and finish was just a bit nicer and the motor ran cooler in the summertime.

I extracted the extra oil using a large syringe with a tube on the end. People often use those for adding oil to a car differential.

Hey from 2024! JFYI, for 2025 NC model, they made windscreen adjustable, and screen is now TFT. Still no cruise control though, sadly. How's 2021 model holding up for you?

I like the updates they have made to the new model year. While I no longer have my 2021, I'll definitely own a Honda again at some point.

There are other plugs for those accessories. As far as I know, the USB is only for rider items like phone chargers or GPS, etc.

I live right around this area (Mesa). I wanted a Del Mar really badly, but the price stopped me. I ended up buying a Ryvid Anthem and so far I am loving it. Still new to motorcycling so I’m easing myself into doing it day by day to build up my confidence. Safety over everything else.

It was a difficult decision for me between the Del Mar and the Mulholland. I ultimately just wanted the Del Mar for such a long time that it won over the Mulholland which had only just been released.
@AdamasOldblade18 күн бұрын
@@KSSTUDIOS- My goal is still to get a LiveWire when it becomes financially plausible for me. The Del Mar is literally everything on paper that I want from looks to power to functions to style, everything. I am basically using the Anthem as an intro bike. They do not market it as anything super special, just a simple urban commuter and given my lifestyle it’s perfect.

A couple of tips on stand install.....1.use automotive brake spring pliers, hook both front, then hook rear from left side of bike reaching under using pliers hook the rear. 2. Installing the front spring attachment pivot bolt use telescoping magnet to position it over threaded hole then use open end wrench to thread it. This worked great for me and saved a lot of time and grief.

Getting same issue with intermittent upshifts so have opted to just manual shift for now until next service . I also installed the puig wind deflector and that resolved the wind noise issue for me .
