Surprised hatchbacks like these are not more popular in the states. It's like a lower suv. Reliable and practical.

I love the way this looks especially in the Intense Blue! It looks incredible!

In Australia where they are sold as the i30, they are mostly white, but nlines are not a common sight like the full fleged Ns, which are also not common to see. The most you'll ever see of the N brand, is the tucson nline and god I don't like those things!
@teeztoyz4 жыл бұрын
N Line FTW because in top spec the GTI is like 6k more than a fully equipped N Line. The. Veloster N has more performance but less amenities and is less reserved. Being an older dude, and more reserved I went with the N Line it just looks a lot better to me as you can definitely see the Audi design engineers DNA influences.

It's not a VW. That makes it infinitely better right off the bat.

VW are crap. Unreliable junk that looks great and drives OK but will break on a regular basis and become a money pit.

If Hyundai actually brought the real i30N Hatchback here in the US, I would gladly trade in my Honda for it ASAP! Unfortunately, they only have the Veloster N here which is too small for my needs.

@@omardrives Why on earth would you buy this 200HP one when the 270HP GTN is coming next year?
@denith9694 жыл бұрын
I just test drove this tonight, fell in love with it. Only downside is I can't get the color i want (Fluid Metal) without the tech package. I really want a Veloster but the closest one to me is in Michigan (I'm in Wisconsin).

Did you get the N line?
@denith9693 жыл бұрын
@@scottdavidson7543 no, in the end I went with a 2020 Toyota CH-R I enjoyed driving that one more when I took it out a few days later and I definitely don’t regret the decision I love my Deadpool car lol (it’s red/black color)
@MrTrashcan13 жыл бұрын
Bought a used 2019 manual in this color and love it, but in watching videos I discovered that Hyundai lied about the cargo space in the US version. In videos on the I30 N line, the identical car overseas, they list the space in liters. Converted to cu. ft. it comes to 14 seats up, 46 seats down. Yes, the squared off hatch enables you to stack things higher, but longer cars like the Civic hatch and Impreza have more cargo space. Don't understand why Hyundai made it so short. Four more inches (175) would have given more rear room and more cargo space. The Elantra Touring wagon was the perfect form factor.

Never understood why some if not all of the tech packages features could not be had with the manual gt n-line.... Why does the r-spec manual get more tech features then the gt n-line and for less!? 🤷🏾♂️😅 Poor packaging from hyundai, almost like they want people just to settle for the Veloster

I have Veloster N and ADORE the new Hyundai performance cars. I know a dude running one of these with a LAP3 tune on it. It’s a great car Don’t know why they didn’t do the Elantra N instead of the watered down n line.
@aussiefurbymogwaifan66213 ай бұрын
I'm aware people like modding the nlines like the full fleged Ns and that shows what sort of an audience the nlines are amid at. That is why I don't like the tucson nline, it ruins that because it is amid at the masses (like the current kona where there is only an nline, but it lost it's big brother N, although I don't like the kona or ioniq 5 N, as the N brand shouldn't be feeding into the suv sheep), while the other nlines are more amid at the car community with modding and customization in mind

Do you feel like the VW GTI models are reliable and inexpensive to maintain for ten years of ownership or would the Hyundai be better for long term ownership?
@FourJaysFour4 жыл бұрын
This is a hotly debated topic. MHO from experience is German cars are engineered well with regard to the driving experience (handling & performance). But they break. I'd NEVER own but I'd lease (unless I wanted an older LE model). If you read the history of this car's design you will discover there were former Audi/Porsche designers heavily involved. I predict Hyundai will soon screw the pooch because they don't know how to market this vehicle and the level of "service" at the dealerships is akin to Yugo.
@shanemitchell58074 жыл бұрын
VW GTI are unreliable. I didn't quite believe this when I bought one, I wish I had of listened. After about 70-80,000km or less, stuff starts to break. At 90,000km mine needed: New pistons, rings and conrods (bad oil consumption), 2 window regulators, dual mass flywheel, water pump leaking again. In warranty the timing chain was replaced due to stretching, water pump, 3 diverter valves, one coil. I think that's it. I've had the N-line for 45,000km and guess what needed to be replaced....nothing. If you like bleeding cash get a VW GTI.
