That last side by side shot pretty much makes my choice. That low, low, hood and low drag coefficient of the Hyundai make it a design win. All the internal features of the Limited are going to keep it current and pleasing to own. The Honda is fine and will please its fans but it's just not my favorite car company and I've never been tempted to buy one.

Good review. Not sure why people are complaining the video is too long, I want detail in videos like this and that is what he gives. I currently have a 2013 Sonata Limited and I've had it paid off for awhile now and I'll be getting the 2020 Sonata Limited. I test drove the new one at the dealership and I was very impressed by it. I know people complain about the grill, of which I did but when I saw it in person, it grew on me. I didn't get to test the Bose audio system in the car but I've heard it's pretty good. Seating was great as well, I'm a big guy at 6'2, 270lbs and I didn't have a problem being comfortable, which I didn't expect there to be any issue because my 2013 seats me well. Honda makes great cars and so does Hyundai, never had a problem with my Sonata or my prior car, the Tiburon. The warranty, where else can you get that kind of coverage? The tech, warranty, seating and a lower price than the Honda. I almost forgot, the cooled seats. I'm always pretty warm and videos I've watched said Hyundai did the cool seats just right. Can't wait to get this new one, but with this whole coronavirus going on, not sure when!

Jonathan Sanchez good I’m glad the video is helpful! I would definitely go Sonata. The accord is nice but for that kind of mileage Hyundai’s highway driving assist will be really nice. Honestly the maxima is just old and hasn’t been refreshed in a long time so I would definitely go Hyundai. Plus you get the best warranties with hyundai

Thank you for such a well-placed and excellent review! I will say the Sonata is very impressive in many regards, especially on the tech front. However, there is a reason the Accord is year in year out near the top of the mid-size hierarchy. The quality build, materials, roominess and driving dynamics are simply first rate. In touring trim the Accord grazes the boundaries of being an entry level luxury sports sedan. Thanks again for you great work!

I pick the Sonata. More features for the money. It's 2020 and you mean to tell me the Honda Accord still don't have a panoramic roof? Even Toyota finally added that feature with the new Camry. I also noticed that you forgot to mention blindspot camera in the dash on the Sonata. A feature that Honda started in their cars. But Hyundai took it to another level. I do believe that the new Kia 2021 K5 will blow the Accord and Camry out the water. Especially the GT version with 290hp! Hyundai N-Line will have the same powertrain. Hyundai and Kia is killing it with the design and features for the money. All thanks to former Audi/VW Designers Peter Schryer and BMW, Albert Biermann.

Whats the rage with a pano roof? Most people dont even use a sunroof. It also compromises the structural integrity of the car. A pano is like most things now. Johnny has one so I gotta have one. We live in a cookie cutter world. A pano is just another way of getting more money out of you for something thats rarely used
@jraheemjefcoat4293 жыл бұрын
@@Mrtellitlikeitis It's a lifestyle preference. Just like everyone who gotta have an iPhone. Panoramic roofs is very mainstream and popular. Especially in luxury brand. Yes, Honda Accord is not a luxury vehicle. But the fact other domestic cars in their class is offering luxury in a competitive price point is a missed opportunity for Honda in my opinion. Maybe they will finally add that feature on the new redesign model. For the record, I use my sunroof in my car. All of my vehicles I owned in the past had sunroofs. I won't buy one without it. Like I said earlier, a lifestyle preference.

@@letdothisman1139 The Accord is an awesome vehicle (imo). When I was looking at the current generation of midsize sedans nearly two years ago, it outpointed the Mazda6 and the Camry on my score sheet. And the Accord (as well as the Camry) will undoubtedly outsell the Sonata in North America. But Honda (and Toyota) are already looking uncomfortably over their shoulders at vehicles from the Korean manufacturers and there are other markets in Asia and Europe where Hyundai and KIA already sell very well and can be expected to improve their sales with models like the Sonata (and the KIA K5).

The Honda power ratings are actually a decent amount off... in a good way. A bone stock 2.0t makes 236/269 on a dyno. So roughly 280 hp & 315lb ft at the crank as opposed to the 252/273 reported by Honda.
