It would've been nice if you had commented on the 'snow mode' setting seeing that you were ankle-deep in snow. I'm not sure if the tester had winter tires but hopefully the mode proves itself practical.

Agree...Snow mode is like 1/2 an AWD system and in snow country it would be a big selling point. Should be covered in any Canadian review

If you're looking at camping ability - Hyundai offers a tent for the Venue that attaches around the rear hatch. Could be a great addition if you like to travel and stop at campgrounds on your way from place to place. I'd love to see a review on the Essential manual transmission version! (Some of us still prefer to drive a stick ... even if they're increasingly hard to find.)

I did not really like the style of the car at first glance. I never really liked the Hyundai Styles. But then the style of the Venue started to grow on me, and now I think it looks cool! So I got the Galactic Grey Venue ( Slightly darker grey than this one in video, but same rims )Plus I got it with window tint. Pretty cool car so far and I can't wait to test it in the snow.

So, did you get good winter tires and how is the drive in winter?
@MetalMan2k2 жыл бұрын
@@JustChillingNahhhhMean My Hyundai Venue moves great in the snow. I only drove it with around 5 inches of snow. Made it up my driveway with about 3 inches of compacted snow because I share with my neighbors, and my driveway has a 35-Degree slope. I only have the stock tires it came with. It may slide a little depending on how slick it is on the roads, but the car tries to correct itself. Also going down driveway is nice since the car has anti lock brakes. My car is also pretty decent in mud.
@JustChillingNahhhhMean2 жыл бұрын
@@MetalMan2k Thank you very much for the info, our main car is the Subaru Outback, it's great in snow, mud and I wasn't expecting Venue to be the same. If it is decent, I assume slightly better with the best winter tires, it will do just fine for the daily usage as you described. Will buy as second car for wife. Thanks again for your reply and have a nice day!
@MetalMan2k2 жыл бұрын
@@JustChillingNahhhhMean That's the only thing I don't like about the Venue. Feels like I am driving a woman's car. I prefer a heavy-duty 4x4 truck but oh well it's all I could afford right now. The truck I used to own was a Dodge Dakota Rwd V6. With good tires the Dodge was still horrible in the snow and mud, and I was always sliding all over in the snow, and getting stuck in the mud, even with weight in the back. Loved my Dodge in the summer . But this little Venue is really what I need for winter, for the price. Your welcome glad I could help. Honestly, I used to be afraid to drive in the snow in my old Dodge. Now I welcome the snow. As long as it's not 1+ feet deep.

I own a 2020 Venue SEL and at first I wasn't going to get a venue due to low power, Torque and its ugly. But man for the price you cant beat what you get.
