Those CUVs/SUVs like this, the C-HR and Nissan Kicks are nothing more than glorified hatchbacks. If it doesn't have available AWD its not a SUV.
@2004cyrus5 жыл бұрын
Jeff Morse right it’s a crossover, most people don’t need AWD. SUV’s are on truck frames like the 4-Runner by Toyota or a Dodge Durango. People know these aren’t to go in the woods. It’s a good run about for city dwellers that need reliable & efficient and safe transportation to get groceries or run to the movies or go get a massage: and the happy ending is getting into a Venue for an easy drive home.
@altrock865 жыл бұрын
I agree. I’m not real big into off roading and I don’t believe all suvs should be body on frame but at least make awd or four wheel drive an option if you are going to call it a cuv/suv. If awd isn’t even an option I think I would rather have it like an inch lower and call it a hatchback.

I like the squared off styling. I think it's a really nice looking subcompact CUV. I also like that it's really more of a tall hatchback than a full blown CUV. That means it's got better ingress/egress, better handling, and better MPGs. Makes more sense as an everyday point A to B vehicle for the masses. We really need to get away from these ungainly, impractical high riding SUVs. Pointless vehicles for the average consumer's commuting and on pavement journeys. Hyundai hit a home run with this one. Definitely more of a city runabout with the subcompact size and low power numbers though. If I didn't like my Elantra so much and had the cash to burn, I'd consider looking into this one.

So difficult to relate to right hand drive. Don't understand why put a city car n a country style environment and even trying to show its off terrain capabilities. See that often in reviews: vehicles in their wrong environment. Guess when reviewers see a vehicle "looking" like a SUV automatically imagine they are big 4X4 all terrain vehicles. Like when back then when the badge GT on any kind of car trickled into thinking it was a Corvette...
