I have seen that Claudia Rostey plays the trombone, certainly very good, but when I hear her singing I get completely knocked out. This is a beginning of a jazz singer career, if she wants, of course . Her voice contains a certain flavour that is rare, with its natural sound and a little small vibrato on top, and a lovely unforced tone. I like her singing, and wish her the best for the future.

Claudia really nails this one ! Love the way she says "you are here"- small detail but absolutely fantastic. The high notes in this tune are not easy but she handles them very well. Big salute to Carla Motis on the rhythm guitar. Fantastic skill! No doubt she's been listening to Freddie Green from the Basie Band. Fantastic direction from Maestro Chamorro as always!

I thought from a distance that the singer was Joana but it turned out to be Claudia who is new to me. What a great jazzy voice she has and what a great band Joan has nurtured. They are as good as any I've heard. In England, Joan would have received an honour for services to music. Let's hope that Spain gives him something similar. Arise Sir Joan.

This group contributes significantly to a world wide appreciation for jazz, and a deep respect for the remarkable skills that these young people develop under the tutelage and directorship of Mr. Chamorro. I hope that the young players understand just how inspirational they are to thousands of people, young and old, who follow them faithfully via KZbin. Someday, I hope to visit Barcelona with the primary goal of catching the band in concert and attempting to understand the culture that allows young people to achieve such levels of musical expression. Yes, Alba E. is mighty solid baritone player and her vocals are powerful with the new vibrato. She recently got a degree in music Bravo!!! She got the baritone chair in the Valparaiso Foundation female band. That band is a great one. Plus she, Rita A., Elia B. and Joan C. just did three shows in Sweden where they got to meet cold and snow.
