What do u define as insane prices? Cause if u think they're gonna be selling like hotcakes then the price won't really be insane then. It'll be appropriately priced to meet the demand of a product people will want. What u as one person, thinks the pricing should be doesn't really matter as the market will dictate the price.

Mark Allan please take a minute and read this!! Jeep, Blue, and an old guy change the world! If we can do it imagine what you can do! Circumnavigation of the world in the Jeep Gladiator!! I’m 59 and my dog Blue is 5… I’ve been an outdoor enthusiast my entire life and am so impressed with the roll out of your Jeep Gladiator pickup!! From what I can tell with first impressions over youtube it truly seems like you’ve put significant thought into this vehicle. I believe it will be a great success, but now you have the challenge of maximizing the potential this vehicle offers your company. However to maximize the potential for your company I think you also must seriously consider how this vehicle will help you give back to your customers, Mother Nature, and the world! Jeep you have a unique opportunity here! Life continues to change and one of the things that is continually on my mind is how to fulfill my love of the outdoors and also give back in a way that moves the world closer to FAMILY and pushes us all toward a more sustainable environment. A world that will allow generations that follow us to realize the same wonder and amazement around all that the outdoors, Mother Nature, and our Brothers/Sisters from around the world have to offer. I think you’ll find this a core concern for many of the generations you serve. To that end Jeep Executives I am moved to make a bold proposal. You never know unless you ask do you… Don’t just participate in another rock crawling contest, or another off road race, or some macho demonstration of just how tough and manly your Jeep Gladiator can be. Show the world how we all can change to allow continued enjoyment of Mother Nature while making sure our children and grand children can experience the same wonders. I’m reminded of a young man we went wheeling with in California. He would always fall behind and I would circle back to check up on him. I discovered on one of those outings that he fell behind because he was stopping to recover any refuse he spotted as he drove. That moment was a game changer for me and I suddenly found it my responsibility to spread that thought process. There is no reason we cannot improve upon a location after we visit and before we leave. If we are to survive as a race this has to be our new mantra. Leave it better than you found it... Here it is! Wait for it!! Please consider sponsoring a global circumnavigation of the world in your Jeep Gladiator with my dog Blue and I! However I recommend a twist that I think would help our environment, the world, and coincidentally your company. As we circumnavigate the world our goals would be to raise environmental awareness, help contribute to changes that will benefit environmental sustainability, sponsor events in each destination that would benefit the local residents (whatever was most important to the local community), and work to build FAMILY over the entire world. If you want to build sustainability in your product line and your company I think you’ll find these causes extremely important to the generations that will be considering your product when they buy... There are some things that transcend cultural and language differences. True caring and love is one. How can we leave each place better than we found it?! The other, of course, is an amazing dog!! Dogs are the epitome of loyalty and love! There is not a place in the world that doesn’t understand and LOVE an amazing dog! Participating in an undertaking of this nature would be an honor for me. I am at a crossroads in my life for a number of reasons and other than sponsorship, the ability to narrate our travels daily in word and on youtube, and the ability to undertake this adventure with the right goal in mind I would ask for nothing else. The right goal of course would be to, “leave it better than you found it.” Well there you go… Hope to hear from you! Patrick Thomas pthms76@gmail.com

While the 3L diesel sounds great, and configuration is just right, if only this was made by Toyota it would be an instant sell for me as a true utility off roader, given it won't be horribly overpriced.
