it was pretty difficult. The short answer is you need a longer bolt for the brake side. It will work with some modifications. Hope that helps a little.

Beautiful vid. Did the ECU reflash improve the smoothness of going from on throttle to maintenance throttle to on throttle in curves? Also, do you feel the need for a more aggressive bar on this bike? Have you changed ergos (bar, pegs, seat) at all, and how tall are you?

It absolutely did, the Z900 is already pretty smooth but I did notice some jerkiness especially in 1st gear. That is completely gone now. Ive owned many bikes and this is by far the smoothest bike ive owned. I would love to change the bars to a more aggressive position i have not been able to find clip ons or a better handlebar that will work with this new 2020 Dashboard. Stock, the bike is very comfortable and great for commuting and touring though. I am 5' 9"

I'm probably (70%) going to pick up a 2021 with the red frame as soon as my local dealer receives the new ones, but I've been trying to decide if the stock position is a little too upright. @@SinuousGrace Nice find! if you do decide on the z900 let me know if you get those bars and if they work. I used to own an fz-07 and that had more of an upright position. Stock the z900 is probably one of the more aggressive naked bikes you can get.

Hello, These mirrors were purchased on Amazon. The Amazon listing is "kemimoto Motorcycle Handlebar Rearview Mirror Bar End Mirrors 7/8" Handle for Suzuki Honda Kawasaki Scooters Aprilia BMW Yamaha" If you do purchase these you will need to find a longer fastener for the brake side. The bolt is too short. Solid mirrors so far. Thanks for watching.

I can’t get over the fact that this bike is made in Thailand and is now pretty ancient in design. Kawi is cheapening up their bikes. Yamaha MT-07/09/10 all made in Japan with better features.

I rev match to match the speed of the input shaft to speed of the lower gear im trying to go into. It creates a smoother down shift with almost no jerking since im not engine braking as much. Its also better for the gear box and clutch. Is that good enough for you David? Did you notice that I sometimes clucthless up shift too? Im going to assume you think i dont know the answer to why i do that too huh?
