2020 Kenworth T880 Dump Truck, Cummins X15 605hp 2050tq with Neustar Pup Trailer

This is right up my alley, only thing different is that this truck pulls a pup trailer behind it. Great looking truck and setup! Last Tuesday I had gotten out of the T880 that I had since the beginning of 2016 and into a new W990 that the boss had surprised me with.

@@AndyTheKenworthGuy Thanks, this W990 is bad to the bone! I'm not sure if you remember back quite a few videos ago when I had mentioned that I had spec'd one out for the bosses salesman. Well, his salesman had me spec it out under the assumption that it was going to be built in the Spring of next year when in actuality it already had a built slot for June of this year. The plan was for me to spec out the truck and we were going to talk the boss about it when it comes in. Boy, did they pull a good one on me. I was called to the shop 2 weeks ago to sign some papers and once I walked in the door there it was and the boss, his wife, 2 daughters and a coworker of mine who knew about it shouting out "surprise!!!" I was so shocked and surprised that I was literally speechless. He had it ready to go so I just had to grab a few things out the other truck and roll out. I went back at a later date to get the rest of my things. Out of all my trucks I've received the most compliments with this W990. Definitely a sharp looking truck and a dream to drive. Truck rides better than my previous T880. Once I finally get it lettered up I'll have to email you some pics.

Those box installers are still using a lame electric trailer brake controller people were putting in pickup trucks 20 years ago?! There are better options out now that offer a much more finished look. And they used a hand held label maker to mark controls for the dump body and pup trailer?! Lame. Those guys need to step up their game big time IMO. Fix those little things and this is a killer truck!

More versatile if you have a construction company with some tag/floats with electric brakes or need to tow a landscape trailer. Good Idea to add really

Ethan Donker I understand why they have an electric brake controller. If you read and understand my original comment you’d see it’s about why they used the one they did. There are much better aftermarket electric brake controllers available now rather than a knee banging controller the size of an original game boy, that is rather crudely screwed into the dash.
