Thanks for commenting. I find that many people are intimidated by the LKA system until they try it out and then we find that most people love it. Some of our competitors accomplish the same thing in a different way, and I think Kia has this dialed in very well.

i currently have a 2011 soul that i'm hoping to upgrade from soon since it's starting to become a mechanical nightmare and it's a bit too small for me... the sportage was already on my shortlist but your videos on the 2020 model have really sold me! if only we could meet in the middle in winnipeg so i can buy it from you, too ;)

Hey Peter - Great videos! Are you using a GoPro for this? Built in audio? Wireless Mic? Just curious...You do a great job with your videos!

Thanks for your kind words. The in car video here is done with a GoPro Hero7. This camera, in this setting, is the only setting that I don't use a microphone, so the audio is taken from the camera on the opposite side of the car than me.

Great job. I enjoyed the walk around video as well. My question is regarding CD play and MP3 play. Does this car have a cd player? An MP3 player if I've converted cd to mp3? Thanks again

This car does not have a CD player. Our older cars with CD players can play MP3 files on CD. This car can play MP3 files from a USB storage device or digital music player. It can also stream music through bluetooth.

Does this model come with the back up camera warning? For example, if I was to get to close to an object while backing up would it beep at me as a warning?

So any Sportage with Blind Spot Detection will also have Rear Cross Traffic Alert which can alert you to pedestrians or vehicles crossing your path. If you're talking about the proximity sensors that help with parking, you'll need to move to the SX trim as that is the only trim with that feature.

I usually wear a microphone, but for these videos, I use the microphone on the camera. It does amplify the sound of the car doing it this way.

Yes, two things. 1.) the settings that the driver can make on the display. 2.) Using the touch screen. -- We just bought the Sportage yesterday, love it but is is like a computer on wheels.

By sales volume.. the SX isn't the one that "everyone wants" but when we have an SX in stock, we'll do a video for sure. This is a new model for us, and the LX AWD and FWD models were the very first to ship. We got a video up as soon as possible. We'll do the same with the SX when it arrives.

All the fuel consumption ratings are listed at www.kia.ca If fuel efficiency is your primary concern, the Kia Seltos is another option in this segment and it has a little less power but also a little better fuel efficiency.

Quiet? The best thing to do is test drive the car. It's tough for me to measure "how quiet" it is on a video. This was filmed with no lapel microphone, so the camera microphone picks up all the ambient noise in addition to my voice. I don't know if that helps you get an idea or not.

Only thing Kia needs to approve on now to really get some serious buyers is digital cluster like bmw and more sound proofing to get rid of road noise
