So glad it's fixed. The wiring by the headstock/right fork. Was it like that before it went to the dealers it looks messy almost like they've cut the ties and had a good root around

You’re very right, it’s is. I could see my heated grips connection point that’s was originally under the gas tank ,it’s outside the gas tan now.

Glad u got it fixed. I’ve a 2018.. bike doesn’t go above 6k rpm. Did almost everything possible (even go a Brentuning handheld ‘cause I thought it might be an ECU problem). Still nothing. Anyone had that same issue?

Check the throttle body actuator under the tank. There’s a breather hose that usually gets snagged around the actuator which then throws the bike into limp mode. I hope this helps

I got the exact same problem brother. Is it something i can fix myself or do i have to go to the dealer? I wanted to join a rideout so i dont want to waste any time and fix it as soon as possible. i still have my warranty.

Kayserlian if you still have your factory warranty I will strongly advise you to take the bike back to your dealership to do it on warranty because there is a lot involve in fixing this very particular problem,you’re going to need a new ignition system that your key will need to be program to it and so on no so forth, so in my opinion you better do it under warranty.

That wiring looks appalling on the RH side in front of the tank !. Glad you have got it fixed, but surely they shouldnt have left that mess .

The bug screen is KTM 1290 Dashboard Screen Protector 2 x Ultra Clear off eBay and the tail tidy is Evotech Performance tail tidy off eBay as well.

Gregory the problem was a bad race on ignition system.
