I love the Caldera White Birch. I use the spray in my bedroom on my bed linens a few days after I washed them. I wash my sheets once a week. I use the hand soap and surface spray in the bathroom. I love Mrs Meyers in the kitchen but I buy the large refill bottles in Lavender. I have ordered Acorn Spice for Fall and Orange Clove for the holidays. It makes cleaning a little more pleasant. I also love the baking soda scrub for the sink. Pine straw is good for flower beds. We live in SE Texas and get our pine straw from my son’s yard of 6 acres which has several pine trees on it.

I grew up in the south. I don’t remember what we had when I was a kid but when I had my own house, I always used mulch. Now I live in South Dakota and it’s very windy so rock is very common. I was really surprised to see flowerbeds with rocks. It makes sense though because pine straw or even mulch would get blown all over the place. You’ll see some mulch but not a lot. The rocks in the flowerbeds withstand the cold and the snow a little better I guess

Awesome..... Great deep cleaning motivation that was much needed! I love everything about your amazing front porch ....decorated just perfect ! Love the pine straw / mulch ....we have several ponderosa pines and when the needles drop under the trees we just leave them . It keeps the weeds away and I really like the look . We live in S.D. and haven't seen the pine bundles or bales but will definitely check for them !

I’m in NC and have heard of pine straw. I like the look of it and would use it, but my hubby doesn’t like it. So we use mulch. I do think pine straw is prettier though. Have never heard of that hack to make the pumpkins last longer but I’m going to give it a try.
