I appreciate that this game makes an interesting point about how young women are often not taken seriously. The kidnapper assumed that the police would value Maya's life and Nancy's testimony enough to stop the demolition, but instead they gaslight Nancy and make the dangerous assumption that Maya is not in the building. I only wish that the chief got punished for the fact that he didn't believe Nancy--or at least he could have apologized.

you couldn't be more right. considering that Maya is still a minor they should have been out in full force whether they thought it was a prank or not. Minors are not "supposed" to be given the wait 24 hrs line.

Great job Michael!! I definitely appreciate this game even more as an adult. This was some of Lani's best vocal work as Nancy. So earnest and invested in the case, not taking crap from anyone, her intense line of questioning and sassiness mixed with empathy for certain characters. Love it! And it's crazy... as a kid I never saw Maya trapped at the end!! When I saw that in your walkthrough I was floored. I love that you show all these little bits of content that I missed!

That painting on the box in the basement safe is real. It’s called “Zodiac” and it’s by Alphonse Mucha. An exhibit of his work came to our local museum last year. I freaked out when this painting was one of the first on display. It was so cool to see the real thing!

This game holds a special place in my heart. It was my first ND game and I grew up near St. Louis. In fact, some of my doctors are part of the medical group with Washington University (the university Maya attends in the game).

"Maya's missing! She was kidnapped from Brady's dressing room!" That's supposed to be your quote of what Nancy said to Nicholas.... funny thing is she didn't say that. "You were hanging out with Brady instead of me!? That's so not cool." And that is your quote of Nicholas' reply. In you're attempt to make Nicholas look back for not paying attention to the things you say to him, instead you prove you didn't pay attention to what YOU said to him. Actual quote starts at 11:24 "She's a reporter doing a story on the Theater demolition. She was trying to interview Brady Armstrong." To which Nicholas replies with "Forget Charmstrong. If she wants the real story she better talk to me." I think that was an appropriate response given what she ACTUALLY said.
