The problem with this car is that there’s no ac vents for the 3 rd row, so in summer (which is the majority of the year) you will be sweating there and wanting out!!! Very big issue that a 100 k plus car should not have. Definitely a deal breaker for me. If you don’t use the third row then just get a GLE, so the GLS is only good for extra cargo room.

It's a lovely car but very pricey. Maybe the GV80 will do as well and undercut?!

@@FamilyWheels Your review was excellent, and more than fair. You stated fact and related the usefulness of the Mercedes as far as it fits into the practical applications of everyday life for "regular" people. It's just far too pricey for the average Canadian. I love your show. I follow three Canadian reviewers, and am thinking about dropping one of them... and it is not you. Your way of showing how a vehicle, no matter the price point, can fit into a lifestyle and either improve or detract from it is always good to see. Yeah, sometimes you go for the high end choices, but you treat them fairly and are unbiased. I don't have the same needs as you do, but your way of evaluating a vehicle is the same as mine. We both know how to look for what matters most in a vehicle: usefulness, dependability, and joy of use... not always in that order, but always a blend of all three.

At that price I would just go with the G-Wagon. Besides the fact that when you do have a G Wagon it's made in Austria and not on a production line just like the rest. G-Wagon is more personalised. Great review by the way.

Sure it's more bespoke and has MUCH more road presence, but it's not as comfortable for daily driving.

Family Wheels nice my parents own a Mercedes Gle 350 my aunt used to own a bmw suv tbh the Mercedes is much more comfy but it was a older bmw I’m not sure about the new bmw but the x7 looks cool
