Such a good video Carl, you can see why you get lovely cars and vans to install on. You’re attention to detail is brilliant you sure know your onions! It amazes me the speakers that are supplied with cars from factory they look so cheap and probably really aren’t up to much?!

Great in depth explanation! Would have loved to see the tuning part with the bit tune software, maybe in the next project... few questions, where doors and rear treated with sound deadener? Did you install the rear speakers or bridged 2 pairs of channels for the under-seat woofers? How is the sound quality of the audison prima range mid and tweet compared to the VOCE line?

Did you use a DRC? I installed an APF8.9 in my golf recently. When tuning using the software the DRC volume in software is set to -15 sounds amazing. All eq and time alignment done. When I write to device and finalise everything saves except fir the DRC volume it defaults back to 0. Do I have to buy the external DRC remote?

Superb work Karl, quick couple questions. Do you tap into the hk amp speaker output then splice into the loom and use the standard wires to the speakers? My bro has a bmw m4 with hk and I’m poss going to get asked to do his (done a superb active system in my b7 rs4)

Most of the audison installation is very simple and straight forward, the only thing you need to know is to take out body panels without breaking, the only thing I don't understand is why the guys on youtube make it looks difficult... lol

ive just used your amp location in my mini f56 audio install. brilliant location. can i ask did you use the audison ASP module? i havent used it and didnt see that you had. should i add one or is it uneeded? also did you code the stereo to use an external amp or did you work off the head unit internal amp settings with no changes?
